The Kurds did not help the US defeat ISIS. The US helped the Kurds defeat ISIS.
The job is done, and we're coming home.

Those people have been fighting each other since before the US was founded.

I believe that President Trump pulled the troops out of there because they were vulnerable.
Removing those troops puts the US in a much better position to strike Iran.

How many US troops were in Syria?

Currently there are 1000 American soldiers in Syria.

No one is coming home they are being moved around see Saudi Arabia and Iraq deployments as well as moving from northern to southern Syria. What we have done is cut and run leaving space for Turkey, Syria and Russia while we put our own troops in danger.

I would much rather see our troops helping the Kurds than helping the Saudis!!!But Dirty Donald knows where his money comes from Russians,Turkish Saudis and Ukraine so that's where we now show our allegiance?????It's all about him now.

What happened to "Al Qaeda" ? Neither the US - nor the Kurds - defeated ISIS/Al Qaeda ( which were on the same side and the major groups that were in charge of our proxy army) It was only after Syria/ Russia/ Iran defeated ISIS/Al Qaeda in all of Syria - except the area controlled by the US - that the US turned on our proxy army and started fighting Al Qaeda/ISIS

I agree - in general - and feel no remorse when radical Islamic Jihadists - go to meet Allah while in the course of Holy Jihad.

The above are true enemies - the people of Syria were not our enemies.

Syria is one of the most free Muslim nations on the planet ... and certainly in the Middle East. .. a true model of freedom in comparison to other Muslim Nations in the Region - but - the radical Islamist's hate this .. they want Syria to be a strict Sharia Islamic State .. like big brother El Saud. .

Syria is a "Secular" Muslim Nation = No Strict Sharia Law - the Imam's are kept at bay via a constitution which states that Islamic Jurisprudence shall not be the main source of Legislation.

There is no death penalty for apostasy, adultery and homosexuals. There is drinking of Alcohol and Dancing in Bars. Women wear skirts and proper bathing suits - like any civilized nation - and don't need permission from a man to be educated or marry. There are Christian Churches and relative freedom of religion - Assad has Christian Generals in his Army.

Then there are the radical Islamist crowd which hates this "Secularism" - they hate the Western Infidel but in a ME nation - Secularism is a cancer from within.

Whose is your enemy in this picture ? - do you spot him ? A) the people of Syria who want to keep their freedoms - or B) the Radical Islamist Jihadists that want to take those freedom's away - turn Syria into an Islamic State - through Holy Jihad if necessary.

Many claim that the US assisted ISIS in many ways. I find that claim probable.

Not really. Look at the time line--after Russia came on scene, ISIS began losing and the White Helmet gang were shown to be only propagandists for Israeli and US interests with all their nonsense about Assad gassing his own people.

The Kurds with the help of US air power and weapons is what defeated ISIS for now. Russia never did anything good for anyone but Russia, they do not do any good, and they never will. That is what history shows in a timeline from about 1012 AD.

Of course I do what ? - your post is incomprehensible gibberish.

    Which side do you support.

    A) the people of Syria who want to keep their freedoms - or
    B) the Radical Islamist Jihadists that want to take those freedom's away - turn Syria into an Islamic State through Holy Jihad.

I see Trumpers trying to parse this out lamely.

The Kurds were our PARTNERS in taking the caliphate (land occupation) away from ISIS and it cost them 11,000 dead on the battlefield.

And we allowed our "ally" Turkey to annihilate them.

    Great job Trump

    Putin smiles
