Listen to this former police officer. If you can refute his arguments, please do so. I find that highly unlikely.

I like the illegal market. I can get what I like without being hassled by fat politicians who want to regulate my life.

I think it should be legalized, but we should still create voluntary markets to avoid state regulation. Grow and sell weed to others.

Growing your own should not be illegal, but let's be real. Making your own booze and growing your own tobacco are legal today. How many people do it?

Not many, but I'm not concerned with the conduct of others. I don't smoke, but I do drink. I've made my own beer, and it was infinitely more fulfilling than anything I've bought in the store. Reminded me of tasting raw milk for the first time - you realize that you've been sold watered down crap most of your life.

While brewing your own beer is legal, selling it to others is most certainly not. Maybe you live in a location where the government isn't rabidly opposed to your freedom, but I live in Australia. They make politicians big 'round these parts ;)

I'm very much opposed to weed being legalized and us all buying the Heineken of weed. Grow your own, or buy from those who do. Pay no sales tax. Pay no cannabis taxes. Obtain no license. As far as I'm concerned, buying weed should be as grassroots as buying homegrown tomatoes from the lady at the end of your street.

Anything else isn't really legalization, it's cartelization under the state. To each their own - let people buy their Marlboro joints if they want to, but I'll stick to bud grown by someone I know by first name ;)
