    Interesting article, for a leftist POV, about open borders, and how it went from fringe to mainstream on the left, in contradiction to all of the old left's goals.

    The Libertarians do want open borders as well, but this thread isn't about "proof" that the left wants open borders. I think I've demonstrated that in previous threads.

    What criteria would you accept as "proof?"

    The reason I ask is that I've met the challenge of proving something multiple times on this forum, only to be told that it just wasn't enough. So give me some criteria that you would find acceptable.

    And the number of powerful people on the left calling for open borders, abolishing ICE, etc., makes the question unnecessary to have to prove.

    So according to the story in the OP the Left is allied with the wealthy business community to allow labor that has normally been Democrat or "Leftist" for a better word, to control the border at all times making it open and without any security personnel?

    You've given me nothing to establish criteria that you would accept. I realize that once you challenged the premise, it wouldn't matter what was provided, it wouldn't be enough, but keep in mind, this article was written by a leftist for leftists. Your real issue is with the author who also seems to think that leftists default to open borders.
