The most sane piece of political writing I've read in awhile.

WTF are we supposed to do though? We have a large demographic that is absolutely bat(*)(*)(*)(*) insane and refuses to accept that our society in certain fundamental ways has irrevocably changed socially.

We are an abortion society, as much as that pisses off the pro-lifers if they don't accept that fact then they will sink the chance of the GOP ever saving the REST of the platform, namely the economic freedom stuff that is being snatched away from us.

The GOP needs to get off the "Family values" bandwagon and if the "value voters" aren't happy they can run and vote 3rd party.

There is only one thing that matters now. Saving the Economic Freedom of America before we become another loser Social Democratic State.

Abortion is not going anywhere. Our Economy however most certainly is! Right into the Social Democrat toilet!

Modern Americans want completely and total reproductive and sexual freedom. They want to (*)(*)(*)(*) anyone they want, when they want and don't want consequences for the act or judging them in any way for how they commit those acts.

We have to accept it. Moral hazards be (*)(*)(*)(*)ed.

Well, if I want to have sex with my wife every night and not pop out seven kids like Santorum, I don't think that's the government's business. Nor do I feel it's immoral.
I'm prediciting Obama and the DNC will manipulate the GOP into alienating the minority vote next. Again, keep them talking about anything other than what they should be talking about. And they'll take the bait. Romney may try to avoid it but Santorum will force him to address it. And only one candidate gains: Obama.

The minority vote is almost impossible for the GOP to win in any large numbers becuase the minorities have political interests that are directly hostile towards the interests of most of the GOP.

The African American vote is really irrelevant, they make up a tiny slice of the overall American Demographic and there are enough conservative African Americans to split that vote enough not to matter as much.

The hispanics are completely different story. They are virtually all recent immigrants from cultures that see Che Guevara as a patron saint of the "Working man" and they resent the upper classes. The fact that the upper classes are mostly white just adds to the mistrust.

Hispanics as a demographic do not trust capitalism.

On top of that they have family members in Mexico they want to rescue and feel the GOP is the party standing in the way of that due to our justifiable fears of handing political control of the country over to a bunch of left leaning immigrants who will vote as a bloc to ensure wealth redistribution and Social Democracy rule in America over Laissez Faire.

Although we differ in some views (for instance, my wife is originally from Mexico but graduated with a 4.0 in accounting) I must concede that for reasons other than you state, the Latino vote is probably locked up for the Dems.
I must also point out that in this thread, you have been amazingly civil, objective and logical. Whether Lib or Conserv, that is unusual here. Laudes.
