These are this mornings headlines after 10 (yes TEN) people in one tiny town voted after midnight. This is pure Soviet Russia style propaganda to try to orchestrate a Huntsman surge to hurt Ron Paul. This is disgusting beyond words.

The vote count as of the time these headlines hit:

    Romney - 2 votes.
    Huntsman - 2 votes.
    Ron Paul - 1 vote
    Santorum - 1 vote.

    3 voted for Obama.

You are ignorant of the area.
That vote is famous as being the one that kicks off the primary and a big deal is always made of it in New England. It is alot of fun there, as it is the tiniest precinct recorded anywhere, and it is always a fun news story, every presidential election cycle.
You are an outsider looking in, thinking the headlines are trying to make some kind of larger prediction, and that isn't the case.
    The problem isn't the media.
The problem is your own discernment.

And CBS leaving the 2nd place candidate out of the section on the NH primary complete with poll graphic ... missing Paul in 2nd place. The poll added up to 68% LMFAO ... it's not even subtle.

Even the UK's Telegraph live feed is at it. Paul has had barely a mention save a video of some journo asking him an asinine question about a woman who refused to vote for him because she never got to shake his hand and Paul rightfuly not wasting his time with her and ending the interview.

75% of the live feed is Huntsman this Huntsman surge that. It's quite shameful really

I suggest you watch Dr. Phil instead. He hardly ever gets around to election results in Dixville Notch.

The media is the defender of Liberty. I may not like the current incarnation of it, but when tyrents take over the first thing they do is silence the media then they take away your ability to defend your self.

Or they use the media as propaganda tool. The media has said very little about the NDAA and SOPA. Those are some the worst bills in recent history that take away liberty.

True most media is like that right now, but I would rather have a biased media then no media. Also you should look to alternative news sources not just the big media giants.

Most definitely. I watch fox and cnn so I can hear both sides of the story. I also read stuff on the internet to hear more than the cooperate news will give.

I hope that we get some news that is independent and actually tells all news.

They are an essential branch of the corporate/globalist establishment. The good news is that they are losing credibility on a daily basis.

Their arrogance, especially when it comes to Ron Paul, is astonishing.

Why silence it when you can own it and direct the tone of the conversation if not the message itself? Many of the most well known names in media, owners and journalists, are related by marriage or blood to highly placed government official. The rest subsist off the government information teat. If you say bad things about government, you don't get the interviews with government officials. Pick up any newspaper or watch any newscast today and 75% of it will be regurgitation of some government press release or utterings by a politician or bureaucrat with almost no analysis that isn't fawning and friendly. There there is the whole corporatist side where much of the media is owned by those with stakes in other businesses that rely on government regulation and beneficence for the acquisition of wealth.

Today the defender of liberty is free access to information on the internet. There's much to be skeptical of, but there's also a great deal of relatively mainstream and logical, reasoned analysis of events and economics.

The MSM likes SOPA. It will help them put much smaller online news outlets and blogs out of business. The NDAA is popular among politicians, and so reporting badly on it will cause a rift in the all important bureaucrat to journalist relationship. Journalism is dead.

While the results are expected to be certified by New Hampshire’s secretary of state, the whole affair was, with all due respect to a hospitable citizenry, a bit of a fraud. None of the voters actually live in Dixville Notch.

The grand old resort closed in October for renovations, and the new owners gave the more than 300 employees a severance package. Tillotson and his parents, Thomas and Debra, do own a home on the property but spend much of their time in Boston. The others have moved away to find work in other places. The state allows residents to retain their most recent place of registration, and so the sturdy loyal nine all trooped here to do their duty.

In addition to this, the schools of journalism--like the rest of academia--are owned or heavily funded by the state through student loans, grants, and subsidies. They uphold things like the ideal of presenting the reportage as totally unbiased, and this ends up translating to presenting the "mainstream" (statist) view about everything while proclaiming it non-controversial fact. Also, the big outlets are often owned by corporations that receive privileges from the state. NBC, MSNBC, and CNBC are, of course, owned by General Electric, which is also big in the military-industrial complex. The FCC and government ownership of the airwaves also helped in the cartelization of the telecommunications industry.

Tyrants do not silence the media. They silence truthful media. Why would you rather have biased media than no media? This makes no sense to me.

The ABC plugs on the radio today about the primary never mentioned Ron Paul who sits in 2nd of every poll.

    Update on New Hampshire voting.

    Paul loses.

Paul does OK with the young and naive, uneducated, unmarried, low paid group. Otherwise he gets his ass handed to him.

But that group voting for Paul is no surprise. First they know nothing about politics. Second they have nothing better to do. Third they are completely desperate.

They're like OWSer's that weren't accepted into the tent cities.

Paulobots don't like what I say about their phony candidate. If he were a real candidate instead of wallowing in a last hurrah ego trip, what do they think the obamalamaloopas would say about Paul and his empty record? Everything I've said about Paul is true. The obama crowd would be unbounded by the truth and would absolutely shred Paul in negative adds.

The winner was the "conservative" who has supported abortion, gun control, government-mandated health insurance, the TARP bailout for billionaire bankers, "green" energy regulation, government housing, and the job-destroying minimum wage. You have fun waving your pompoms for the same old thing.

Yep, Paul wins with the demographic of the future. Enjoy throwing your lot in the business-as-usual brigade supported by the dying generation.

Actually, he tied with Obama in the latest poll between them. But keep trying to manufacture reality.

He is doing quite well. Solid second. He will not get lower than second. I hardly call that a loss.

    Paulobots are absolutely hiliarous.

    He LOST.

There is but one WINNER. It was not Paul. Second in a winner take all race is just one of the 'also rans.'

And that is where Paul will finish, "also ran," and then quit and went home.

It should make sense to you. You should be able to absorb two or more interpretations of a story and come to a conclusion that fits your own bias.
