    Exactly.

Trump's "tearing down the system and attacking our institutions" seems to he applauded by those who are UNPATRIOTIC and HATE AMERICA.

Having Donald Trump as POTUS is like giving a can of gasoline and a box of matches to a mentally-deficient child.

Trump won't fire Mueller, UNLESS he wants to commit political suicide.:salute:

Trump has called his investigation a witch hunt, he's claimed it was entirely politically-motivated and should have never been started in the first place. He's also the pinnacle of act-first-think-later "leadership." He's also fired people in the past for the express purpose of trying to prematurely end this investigation. Anyone who thinks he *doesn't* want to fire Mueller is lying to themselves.

"Wanting" to fire Mueller, and actually doing it are two entirely different things

Trump is such a liar there is no telling what this Orange Arse is going to do. His presidency is rapidly crashing an burning. I'll sure be glad when Trump is gone.

You are giving him more credit for self-reflection than he deserves. This is the same guy who fired Comey and was surprised by the backlash. I'm not sure he is self-aware enough to realize this could be political suicide. He exists in an echo chamber of folks telling him that this is a great idea. And, honestly, I'm starting to doubt the commitment of Repubs to stand up to him if he does decide to do something so insane.

I don't think he has said he wants to but I think even a Trump supporter might be
So you'll defend him up until he actually does it then defend his decision to do it. Thats the ciiiircle of Trummmmpp

Not just political suicide for him but his party. Republicans are gonna be spending a lot of money trying to deflect away from him firing everyone involved in his investigation if it comes to that.

I'd agree, but they bent over for him when he fired Comey, and the party is already in chaos over Trump. If they can't turn things around and offer some alternatives, 2020 may be the first election where I don't vote in the R primary. But I'm not holding my breath. The party is split and none of the leadership has found a way to handle that. They are juggling between capitulating to Trump and sticking by their principles and standing up to him, and the "capitulating" side seems to be winning more often than not.

I wouldn't "defend" him (for even one second)..

I just don't think (that at this point) Trump is delusional enough to fire Mueller.

Obviously, that could change--IF Trump wants a full-blown Constitutional Crisis that would bring down his Presidency.

And, totally LMAO at any notion of Me "defending" Trump.

    Me defend Trump? :roflol:

This one comes from TheHill.com...... A valid news source with a very slight left lean.

The primary reason people are worried about Mueller being fired is that Trump said he wouldn't fire him....

Guy is sitting in his car in the parking lot.

Cop walks up says step out of the car.

    Guy says why.

Cop says you were speeding and I'm going to search your car.

Guy says the engine wasn't even running why would you search it?

Cop yanks the guy out searches the car anyways.

Cop finds a bag of pills stuffed under the seat, arrests the guy.

Does the judge toss the case?

Yea. The case gets tossed. Now what does that to do with the investigation of Michael Flynn?

Oh were you having a conversation about Flynn?

I didn't read the history I just jumped in because I was curious if you had an understanding of probable cause.

No, I was having a conversation about Trump's willingness and efforts to fire Mueller and specifically referencing why the latest statements from his team that they are not discussing a firing of Mueller to be total bullshit.

But you wanted to have a conversation about probable cause and I just went ahead and made the obvious link.

Yea my belief is that cause is going to become a factor before too long; along the lines of Mueller and his responsibilities and the question of firing him.

Republicans are facing a disaster this November and it hasn't anything to do with Mueller. It has just about everything to do with Trump's obnoxcious, uncouth, egotistical, temper tantrum throwing, feud creating, unpresidential, and about two dozen more adjectitives persona. Trump's persona grates on most folks like coarse sand paper especially those who are independents. Trump has seen his favorable/unfavorable rating among independents drop from 48/24 on inauguration day down to 37/54 favorable/unfavorable

contrary to what most democrats believe, it isn't Trump policies that has driven independents away from him. Going down the list of issues, indies support some, oppose some, they're basically split on issues and policies. But when it comes to Trump character, his persona, that they can't stand.

If this midterm is a referendum on Trump, Republicans will be big losers. That is what all the trends show. At least at this point in time.

Not this Republican, and probably not many of the voting Republicans. We see real collusion not being looked at and given a pass, and a Witch hunt on the guy we elected.

Tell Rosenstein this has gone on long enough. Put your cards on the table Mueller, or take your deck and pack it up.

So, Trump never said he was going to fire SS Mueller.

    Thanks for agreeing with me.

Well said!! As one of the so-called liberal snowflakes on here, I also don't disagree with some of the policies proposed by this administration (most, but certainly not all), but the message is constantly undermined by the messenger.... I believe this midterm will be a Trump referendum, and the Dems have plenty of ammunition stored up.... This plus the non-stop stream of R's resigning at the end of their terms leaves it pretty wide open for a major shift this November...

Why would he do that when he's not done?? Get the Orange Muffin in some sort of live interview situation, then you can repost this...

Although personally, it's much more fun watching Trump sweat (and hire lawyers) NOT knowing which direction Mueller is focusing on (but I'm sure it's full blown collusion....... .......).
