Back in September, Bruce Maxwell, catcher for the Oakland As, took a knee during the Anthem, but it wasn't really all that big a deal. Lots and lots of pro baseball players are not even U.S. citizens, so reverence and allegiance to the U.S. flag and National Anthem wouldn't really be appropriate for them in the first place. So, as the World Series begins, it's unlikely that Anthem arguments are going to be part of that final set of games this season. Some may try to make it so, but players who are not citizens have no, and no reason to hold, allegiance to the flag or to our nation's anthem. I hope someone points that out early in the World Series.

You can expect the MLB to care more about profits, than some make believe protest. We'll see over the next couple of years. Most likely, will tailor into contracts (like the NBA) that you must stand for the anthem or you don't get paid
I personally don't care if Billionaires lose a few Million ... I don't care about their TV Ratings ... I turn on the Games to watch a Game ... I'm usually getting the Food and Drinks during the National Anthem or taking a piss.
