It’s a heat dome due to weather patterns. Nothing new.

What is "new" is the record braking temperatures in places where they are mostly quite temperate.

Global warming. Climate change. Climate reality.
Trump did it. Did it all.

LOL.......you give Trump far too much power ,credit and ability ;-) If he is that powerful....he should turn the temp down to less punishing levels. ;-)

Don't know why it's so difficult, we just need to knock off 90+% of the human race and return to living the lifestyle of AD 840....after all, it's a small price for saving the earth!

Hmm. The planet will survive...one way or antoehr. It is the life forms on it that may not.Depends on their adapting and survival capabilities.

    Well if you say so.....

Personally I think it is the amount of Co2 we are pumping into the atmosphere

Yeah, let's get rid of all the CO2. That'll fix everything. Or I suppose we could bring back R12 refrigerant and put that hole back in the ozone that was letting all the heat escape back in the late 1970's.

Until then, we'll just have to listen to climate tzars that fly around the country in private jets to give speeches about reducing carbon footprints.

Ever see the hard data on mortality related to temperature? Low temperatures kill 17 times the number of people killed by temperatures that are too hot. The empirical evidence shows a warming planet will save many, many lives. A cooling planet would be an unmitigated disaster for this as well as other reasons.

Here’s a pull quote from the linked study below. I understand some may feel the study is underpowered based on the limited data set, but I’m comfortable with it. LOL

It means nothing - it's in the 70s and 80s in Texas and Oklahoma, Missouri with tons of rain. It's just switched. Those states have got the northwest normal weather and they have got ours. It's summer, hydrate and get in the ocean.

OR, we could have 50% of our fellow citizens actually evolve to use a thinking brain and help solve, or at the very least, mitigate the effects of climate change rather than just being Doubting Thomases and stall any efforts at action.

    Just saying....

Exactly!! As in use the logic and reason we have ......as opposed to denial, or scoffing at the situation. There is a little town that reached extreme highs for days and now has been destroyed by fires. This is not an academic exercise for those affected........it is a harsh reality.

The point is that it is affecting everyone......one way or antoehr. (directly / indirectly)
