    Skepticism is not denying it.

Fortunately it was republicans using the tools of Goverment to create an approved vaccine. If we did not believe in science this could not have happened.
I am republican and own several masks that I use. Here in my state they never have been mandatory. I was vaccinated earlier this year.

So I have no clue who those are you chide.

Ask any republican if climate does not change. We all say of course climate changes. As it will for a huge scale of time.

All? Quite a few 'biblical' republicans would probably disagree. Unless you count 'the flood' as climate change in action.

Lets watch and and listen to a true scientist on ice at the Arctic and at the Antarctic.

The temperatures went completely back to normal 4 days later, after the record heat wave.
Back to the normal average for that time of year.

Lets start with more recent climate and one that is not disputed at all.
We know the continent of north America once had a massive ice sheet as far south as New York City and less colder further south.
The Great Lakes resulted when the glacier melted.
We also have studied three major ice sheet eras producing Yosemite Valley in mid California. The idea climate does not change is highly unacceptable.

you are certainly one of the responsible ones. And there are a lot of them.) My reference was to those rebels that get into fist fits and about wearing;masks and anti vaxxers. It seems that currently there is a "war" between the vaccinated and the unvaccinated. It should never get that aggressive or extreme.........when it comes to public health issues.

The environment is another very polarizing issue ..........when it should not be. It too is a "public health" issue ......in a different way.

And yes..... Kudos to the creation of this vaccine........ and it was done in such good time too.........so Kudos to the Trump administration for that. I just wish he had learned t keep his mouth shut about tings like injecting dangerous material into self to treat the virus. That was UNSCIENTIFIC and totally STUPID & dangerous .

Now we need some scientific breakthroughs to deal with the climate issue......as we need to keep this wonderful planet habitable. and THAT is both a Demo and Rep responsibility............as well as ALL of us too.

Sadly,it seems that politics have become more of a hindrance to problem solving.........than ever before.

Democrats and the media attacked Trump so much many of all parties so hated him they rejected his vaccines.

PS you and the media really amplified those things you hated Trump for.

The disinfect was light, Do you ever get a sun tan? Is the sun good for producing vitamin D?

All true but we also know other effects can happen more quickly albeit on a (geologically) temporary basis. Chiefly events like volcanic eruptions, although even then were the eruptions more systemic/long lasting in nature like the Deccan plates or perhaps Yellowstone and its kin you'd get longer lasting impacts. Same for meteor impacts. So arguing that climate change is strictly a long term process is not quite correct.

Trump as a talker did not interest me. But as a man that does, there he was very good. Bragged too much for my taste. Biden simply turns around and walks off. Too egotistical and a poor president.
Prior to some of the Trump acts, as with you, I myself preferred other candidates.

Which is part of the reason I never made such claims. Climate by the way has to last 30 years to be called climate.

What happened in NE was not climate change, it was a hurricane, or remnants of a hurricane. There is nothing new about hurricanes, and this one was not an exceptionally strong one and it occurred in peak hurricane season.

This is how climate science has been poisoned.

    Cancel culture in climate change

A microcosm on the ‘morality’ of cancel culture: the aborted conference on ‘Global Warming: Mitigation Strategies’, hosted by the Italian scientific academy the Lincei.

". . . . Global warming and climate change provides fertile ground for these social processes, not least because many scientists, journalists, activists and others regard global warming as the impending catastrophe, the existential threat to humanity and life on Earth, and see it as their supreme duty to warn humanity and to help mobilize countervailing action globally, nationally, locally; while a small but vociferous set of scientists and others believe that to be a big exaggeration. Amped up through the syndrome of exaggeration, each side becomes predisposed to draw conclusions on individual issues (eg extreme weather) less from the evidence of those individual issues and more from packaged-up ideological visions, the better to maintain clear moral battle lines; disagreement becomes moral heresy. . . . Some countries are more concerned than ever about climate change. Americans' attitudes are an outlier, a new survey finds.

    "
In some countries, the number of people “very concerned” about the personal impact of climate change more than doubled since 2015, according to a survey released Tuesday by the Pew Research Center. In the U.S., it’s flat."

To be accurate the vaccines were not created by government of any political stripe. They were created by pharmacologists in pharmaceutical companies. You can give the republicans credit for getting government out of the way at least partially.

Yet you deny the fact that this is the coldest Inter-Glacial Period in recorded history based on EPICA Dome Ice Core data.

You deny that sea levels are 4 meters to 14 meters lower than in recorded history.

When someone denies science while claiming "something is wrong" you can see why so many are skeptical.

Should sea levels increase another 4 meters and temperatures increase another 7°F, the only truthful scientifically accurate claim you can make is that this Inter-Glacial Period is on the low-end of normal.

Yes, propaganda is effective. Herr Josef Göbbels proved that already.

    What's your point?

The Ice Sheet was farther south than that.

The leading edge of the ice sheet sat on top of Cincinnati, which is farther south than New York.

There's a reason why Moraine, Ohio -- 40 miles north of Cincinnati -- is called "Moraine."

You know, "Moraine" as in moraines and eskers.

Southeastern Indiana and southwestern Ohio is one giant sand and gravel pit courtesy of the ice sheet.

Glacial Periods last 80,000 to 120,000 years, and while pundits see that averages 100,000 years and matches one of the Milankovitch Cycles, the median is 110,000 years.

Should Earth enter another Glacial Period, the population will be reduced to a few 100 Million, which is what I'm guessing what Liberals really want.

Even a short-lived Mini-Ice Age would kill 2-4 Billion people.
