This one is actually just a sad story. This poor mook was already being discharged for a personality disorder. He is not AWOL at all... he was placed on leave because he is frankly losing his mind. And that was well before he suddenly became a Birther. While his actual case is tragic, the fact that Birthers are now trying to lionize a mentally ill man is just comic. Don't worry. He's no Lakin. He's not going to jail. But those of us with some compassion can at least hope he gets the mental help that he needs.

Really, no two ways around it- if you think that Moran is correct, then logic follows that you think that all of our other service people are wrong, and by extension, you must think that our service people in Afghanistan are acting illegally and therefore you must believe that they are war criminals.
