Yes you're right about that. They're only delaying the inevitable.
Fool us once, shame on you. Fool us many times, shame on us.
NK has shown it deserves to be taken out. The ball is in Trump's court now.

Trump's 2018 FY budget request submitted to Congress was $4.094 trillion.
Trump's 2019 FY budget request submitted to Congress was $4.4 trillion.

Obama's 2017 FY budget request submitted to Congress was for $4.1 trillion.
Obama's 2016 FY budget proposal was for $3.9 trillion.

Yup - that's what Trump FanBoys call "wanting to cut spending." Bull Crap.

Jung Un played Trump for a fool. No one in America thought NK was seriously going to put their hands up this quickly and easily. Maybe Donald Trump and The Cult, but that's it.

Rereading William Shirer's "Rise and Fall of the Third Reich" and was impressed once again at the shrewdness of Hitler and the naivety of the leaders of the western nations. Kim Jong Un, equality untroubled by using deceit and false promises, has done a masterful job of tricking the US into giving him global validation at virtually no cost to North Korea. No surprise to discover that the NK leader did not show up at the meeting. Once upon a time we had a State Department with international political skills and a deep understanding of history. Sadly, we now have a cadre of amateurs running the show.

First post war president not to achieve 3% for three consecutive quarters out of his eight years in office is nothing to brag about.

I don't think you can take him that seriously. He lies and exaggerates a lot (to make a stronger point). And he is entertaining to watch and listen to. Just watch them fact check one of his speeches. He thinks Americans (especially his base) are stupid and will take his word for things. Plus I think he wouldn't mind the Nobel Peace Prize. He is somewhat of a megalomaniac. Some people compared him to a wannabe Superman earlier and I think that was a good description. However, I'd still take him over the do nothing presidents we've had since Reagan. This is constructive criticism.

North Korea snubs US, skips meeting on returning soldier remains

Washington (CNN)North Korean officials did not show up to a planned meeting with US officials at the demilitarized zone Thursday, where they were expected to continue discussions on repatriating the remains of Americans killed during the Korean War, a senior US official tells CNN.

There was no call or explanation from North Korean officials on why they skipped the meeting.

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo ignored a question about the apparent snub when asked by reporters traveling with him in Brussels on Thursday.

The development is likely to fuel growing skepticism over North Korea's commitment to a complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula as promised during last month's meeting between President Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un in Singapore.

Trump has touted the return of remains as one of the successes of his historic June 12 summit with Kim in Singapore.

Trump, and even his rather useless predecessors, kind of make me wish we could have a panel of appointed competent leaders instead. Why does the country need to be headed by one person who wins a mud-slinging campaign?

Yes we did. And if you know anything about the history of WWII you know that using the atomic bomb saved over a million American and Japanese lives because we didn't have to invade their mainland.
