You be obsessed with China and Russia all you want, but I see them as I described them. Of course, that doesn't mean they won't want some handle over their own immediate neighborhood. Any nation would. But if they ever become anything more, and that is unlikely because neither seems willing to risk anything that would truly rise the ire of the US/Israel, it will ultimately because -- like it was the case in Syria -- to stop neocon driven hegemonic designs, someone needs to invite them to help defeat US/Israel and their agendas. Otherwise, China is a mercantalist oligarchy busy profiting in and from the US Dollar dominated global economic system. They aren't interested to trade their new found riches and privileges by killing the goose that lies their golden eggs. And Russia seems at once corrupted too much from within, and still suffering too much from cold war fatigue, to be anything but a state that ultimately talks with both sides of its mouth. Give them their little crumbs in their immediate neighborhood, and leave them alone, and they will be gone. Everything and everyone else is negotiable to them.

She also mentions something about the US trying to bribe Assad.

Which allies? I have not noticed any of the core allies from WWII have deserted the US. Even Putin has become a partner with Trump against terrorists in Syria.
And it looks like Trump and Kim Yong un are getting on just fine.

All polls, and an election which had international observers, showed that to be the case. Along with the fact that Assad's strongest allies, especially Iran, were always insisting that the issue in Syria be settled in free elections under UN supervision, with Assad allowed to run as with anyone who opposed him. The groups fighting Assad were the ones who always opposed the idea.

 

Most people in other countries think less of us.

1-US/Israel agenda? Just call it a Project for a New American Century (of US/Israeli hegemony in the Middle East).
2- What goose? The international economic system is interrelated, underpinned by the US dollar as the currency for international trade, with any blows to the US economy having repercussions anywhere that is connected to it beyond the volume of direct trade with the US. Besides all that, much of America's IOUs are held by China.
