I heard the CDC told the Senate that we could get it under control in a few months with universal mask usage. Think we're saved and pretty soon we can go back to normal??? Well, you would be wrong (according to me)! The only way to overcome Covid-19 is for everyone to wear a mask, forever. At least until a vaccine is created. But I'm skeptical that a cure will appear quickly, not by the end of the year or so, but longer.
The only way to overcome Covid-19 is for everyone to wear a mask, forever. No pandemic in history has ever lasted "forever." The Black Plague of the Middle Ages & the Spanish Flu just after World War I are both good examples. This pandemic won't last forever either, but those face masks will make a huge difference in how many of our fellow Americans die from it while it's here. Stop complaining & wear the mask.
