    http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/polit...-takes-on-trump-in-2020/ar-AAD44lL?ocid=ientp

"Hours before President Trump is set to kickoff his 2020 reelection campaign in Orlando, the city’s largest news organization announced they are endorsing whoever challenges Trump in the general election regardless of who it is.

“We’re here to announce our endorsement for president in 2020, or, at least, who we’re not endorsing: Donald Trump,” the Orlando Sentinel said in its Tuesday staff editorial. “Because there’s no point pretending we would ever recommend that readers vote for Trump.”

After nearly three years, the paper’s editorial board said it has seen enough.

Enough of the chaos, the division, the schoolyard insults, the self-aggrandizement, the corruption, and especially the lies,” they said. “So many lies — from white lies to whoppers — told out of ignorance, laziness, recklessness, expediency or opportunity.”

I'm afraid your thread title isn't going to survive the afternoon, but it's an interesting thread...

I do like the way they put that - No point pretending - That's my exact attitude.... I don't know who I'm voting for in 2020 (yet), but I certainly know who I'm not voting for...

Orlando is in Orange County, which went 60.4% vs 35.7% for Hillary in 2016, so I fear they are preaching to the choir.....

I've been saying the same thing about Democrats for years.

This ironic and hilarious exercise in "progressive" projection and abject lack of self-awareness on the part of the Orlando Sentinel reminds me of the 2017 governor's race here in Virginia.

    The Democrat ad:

    The Democrat candidate:

This is not surprising ---- it is Orlando after all. Orlando has a huge Puerto Rican population for one thing (the highest in Florida and the fastest growing in the US) and Puerto Ricans have harbored a special animosity towards Trump since Hurricane Maria. Orlando also has a big and active LGBTQXYZ community, another demographic which tends not to favor Trump. Lastly, Orlando has a disproportionately low white population and a disproportionately high black population compared to the rest of the state. It has traditionally been considered a blue county. Again, no surprise that the Orlando Sentinel has blown this dog whistle to pander to their leftie followers. They'd be committing suicide to endorse Trump in that city/county.

Florida (2016 Presidential election results map, by county.) See those conspicuous blue counties? Yep, Orlando is in one of them (Orange County.)

It's therefore obvious that they will not vote for a racist and a homophobe.

There is no racist or homophobe running that I'm aware of, so your attempt at flame baiting is irrelevant.

Let me see if a certain board member recognizes this style of writing:

Wow, 2 guys from a left wing gutter rag write something in a newspaper and that makes it true.

They themselves don't even know who to vote for yet they're giving advice on voting? Is this a serious thread or just a re-hash of more hatred from the free loading swamp?

Oh, and just some friendly advice, the title of your thread violates forum rules, but since when does the left think the rules apply to them?

    Carry on:salute:

So ironic that you justify the low support for Trump in Orlando by the fact that there's a large LBTQ community, many blacks and ispanics...

But Trump is not racist, it's a pure coincidence.

Those are demographics which traditionally lean left, Trump or no Trump.

The Orlando Sentinel might as well have said "at least we know who we're not endorsing: the Republican presidential nominee".

Getting excited about Orlando being anti-Republican / anti-Trump is like getting excited that water is wet. But I don't know how many of you posting here are familiar with Orlando (or Florida, for that matter), so I'll give you the benefit of the doubt.

But as if by accident, since Trump is there, their support for the GOP has been historically low.

    But it's a coincidence.

    Not surprising.

Nobody (except the 1/3 of America who will support Trump Unconditionally) wants Trump for another 4 years.

At this point, the Spawn of the Boys from Brazil could beat that Mentally-Unstable Imbecile.

    Donald Trump?:roflol: :bored:
