Just saw this new Debt reduction calculator and it appears to be very detailed. Over 100 options in terms of spending/cutting options to reach a more manageable level of debt.

The deadline is fast approaching for the Budget Super-committee. It would be interesting to see how the folks on PF would reach the goal...

    Find it here...

Managed to get the revenue to just top the spending,
didn't get all the debt paid off by 2021, but got close,
and with revenue topping spending we'd be well on our well to paying off the rest in the following years.

Just another case of the Republicans leveraging the country when it came to debt extension, something they did under GWB 7 times w/o resistance from the Dems or themselves, then making an agreement to cut all spending incl military, then at the last minute posturing so they can act as tho they want to reinstate the military budget while keeping all social cuts in place. It's called typical Repugnat-ican sliminess. This way they can keep their sociopathic electorate happy by cutting social spending domestically and keep the killing machine at full speed abroad. Uh, how is that not sociopathic?
