I think the biggest problem progressives have with Jews is that they see them as competitors in the race to be the biggest victim.

The Institute for Jewish Policy Research undertook a survey of British attitudes. They found no evidence that the far left had greater anti-semitic views. Indeed, the percentage found was indistinguishable from the centre and moderate right.

Given I'm a socialist, I do know quite a few. However, I'm not in favour of tabloidism. My social network might somehow be skewed. I stick to the evidence. The JPR surveyed extensively and broke down their findings according to the political spectrum. You're on a loser. That isn't opinion. That is fact.

 

I sincerely doubt that 90% of Americans have a literal belief in a book that has been translated (or mistranslated) across several language families just as the "Israel" of ancient times is not the modern, criminal Zionist state.

Unconditional support for today's criminal Zionist regimes has been America's most costly folly in both blood and precious resources.

In a recent, unrelated Post about gun control and impoverished, rough American neighborhoods, you were lamenting the dismal condition of America's Social Service system compared to Scandinavia & Canada. That is hardly what one would call a "prosperous" country.

Additionally, 81% of Americans would rather spend American money on America's problems rather than funding Israel's ruthless ethnic cleansing, criminal "Settlements" etc.

Only an alarmingly traitorous 16.8% supports extracting America's precious resources to fund Israeli criminality at the expense of the millions of Americans in need.

Foreign aid to Israel is basically an American jobs program. Has been since at least 1998.

 

Of course many on Far Right are also antisemitic. But they are treated as pariahs.

 

We came to USA in 1983. USSR has many faults, but they have huge positive karma defeating the Nazis.

 

There is a huge spike in anti-semitism in the far right. JPR research finds no such spike in the far left.

 

the Soviets and their Communist allies in eastern Europe were massive perveyors of anti-Semitism from the 1950s through the 1970s.

hundreds of thousands of Jews fled Poland, Romania, Hungary, Czechoslovakia, due to this.

Foreign Aid to Israel is simple welfare for a criminal government that can't support its own illegal expansionism "Settlements" aggression & ethnic cleansing agenda.

If giving money to Israel is such a self enrichment program, why don't all countries do it?

That is indeed true. But we must remember USSR's Great Positive Karma from WWII.

To us, USSR was once Home. Soviet Society had problems, but less then USA 2019. In USSR people had a right to employment, food, housing, medical care.

 

Supporting Israel earns USA great karma -- Numbers 24:9. That karma is the root of USA prosperity.

 

The real benefit US derives from support for Israel is enormous Positive Karma in accordance with Numbers 24:9. The vast majority of Americans agree with the Bible. This is the root of American prosperity.

 

Almost all aid to Israel is spent on American military hardware and supplies. By 2024 100% of US aid to Israel will be spent on American hardware and supplies

that's tens of billions of dollars used to help keep Americans working in good middle-class jobs.

 

Egypt has received more than 79 billion dollars of aid from the US over the last 40 years.

They currently receive around 1.6 billion dollars a year from the US.

Funny how nobody seems to be bothered by that. Even though all that money could be used to spend on schools, veterans, health Care etc...

 

Someone forgot to tell the opening poster that it's only okay to hate Russians, North Koreans, Iranians, Palestinians, Muslims and South American immigrants.

 

Plenty of people are bothered by it.
