As the stigma of making accusations fades away, we can be thankful more and more people will come forward. We want to help them. We want to protect each other.

How many people will be accused, tried in public, and their lives destroyed by mere accusations?

Making false accusations is a crime. Libel and slander are crimes. But who's willing to prosecute, or even threaten prosecution, of women accusers?

How do we keep this from becoming a political tactic, in which martyrs for ideologies and political parties accuse political opponents; and then without the benefit of the presumption of innocence, destroy them?

Until politicians become more civilized, which they are not apt to do, it will be a political tactic.
Slander and libel is nigh on impossible for a public celebrity or a politician to prove.
