Why do the majority of men have to defend women from spiders? Lets face it, its degrading for women to have to freak out and call a man to rescue her everytime one enters the house. Why are feminists not orgainising courses for women on how to efficiently catch spiders and teach them to stay calm in the presence of one. Too long have women been suppressed by their eight legged tormentors feminism needs to step up and teach these damsels in distress coping skills.

Good questions... . I believe its because a woman has more delicate hands and it makes threading a needle and sewing a lot easier for her. Also it has been scientifically proven that a womans brain gets an endorphin rush when she cooks for a man and that is why she enjoyes it so much. Is the child in the scenario a boy by any chance because knowing he is there to take charge and deal with the situation will certainly have calming effect on the mother. Or perhaps these feminist spider catching courses are more popular than i thought and she has already taken one?

For women: Spiders will kill you. I've seen them bite through a shoe. You need to marry a man that wears work boots, let them kill the spiders it's not worth your life.
well they really don't. Actually dated a guy in college that had a pet tarantula. It was quite docile, even friendly if you can imagine that. I remember being 11 years old and the reason being rude to the house and everyone would freak out, I would just catch it and feed it to my pet toad. why would you be afraid to spiders they're harmless. It's like being afraid of bees. as long as you don't go to swatting at them they leave you alone. this one's a good one I can't figure out why dudes can't sew a button on to one of their shirts. I learned how to do that from a man when I was 11. Clearly it is.
How can we possibly get equal pay when we find spiders repulsive? I think that should be a question on a job application and if one hate spiders they shouldn’t get the job (Sarcasm alert)

I had to overcome arachnophobia when I moved to Australia, I kill my own spiders now... but I confess there are some things I still need my husband to help me with...why should I struggle my ass off when he's right there?
My mother avoids spiders...for the simple reason that she's allergic and risks anaphalactic shock if bitten. Until that happened (she found out when bitten ~15 years ago), she never had a problem dealing with spiders.
