Call me what you will but I did my research. She pushed Vincent Foster to committing suicide and the FBI linked her to his death and then the FBI said the evidence linking her disappeared. She never once apologized for it and publicly humiliated the guy over a minor disagreement. Her own security has said it is harsh to be attached to Hillary. She is not a very nice person. She even celebrated the confederate flag, praised former KKK member Robert Byrd and made some interesting comments on black people. She attacked Obama and then tried to be his friend. She really screwed up Benghazi. She had the power to save Stevens and acted to me she did not even care. She has also attacked women that tried to come forth about Bill, her husband raping them and first defended Bill when he abused his power as president to take blow jobs and reward Monica with a pentagon job. She deleted 30 thousand e-mails 3 weeks after she was ordered to turn them over to the FBI and files have also gone missing while her husband Bill was president. Bill signed NAFTA and Hillary had no plans to remove it. She supported Obamacare even after her Husband called it crazy and she supports Gay Marriage and killing a baby less than 10 days before it is born. She called many Republicans deplorable and her attitude sucked. She was on stage with Jay Z when he told off God and fingered the camera. How can you call yourself a christian and stand next to a guy that says "FU" to God? The list goes on and on. She was a monster in my eyes. She had Obama campaign for her which is unheard of and he supports Black Lives Matter so what does that say?

She supports the murder of babies. She will never acknowledge or apologize to Vincent Foster's wife who watched her Husband break down into tears and become severely depressed just days before he killed himself. She will never admit she was wrong to support Robert Byrd who attacked black people in some online videos. Robert Byrd also used the N word when describing black people. Hillary never tried to fight for jobs in America. She completely ignored the hard working Americans and offered them nothing for job. She did not care.

Trump has a far smaller list. He may have defrauded some students but decided to pay them what he owed them. He did not release his taxes but this was nothing to worry about. He had some creepy daughter comments and one video where he made a bad comment about women but nothing proved. All of his women accusers from my research were debunked except one who disappeared. He made fun of a fat person. He has a lot of twitter rants and sometimes says minor lies that have nothing to do with anything important. I missed a few things but his list of things I did not like are very small compared to Hillary.

Now Trump offered us Jobs, a great wall, deportation of illegals, conservative jobs, the possibility of removing NAFTA and he connected with christians and the blue collar worker force while Hillary did not. I liked Ben Carson and Trump gave him a job. Trump denounced the endorsement from the KKK and there is no proof he is racist. He was on a episode of the Fresh Prince with Will Smith and he has black friends. Hillary may have supported groups that wanted to see black people dead. Hillary offered us 8 more years of Obama but she is far worse then Obama and she could have really turned this country upside down. With Trump everyone here in Iowa are safe and living normal lives. Only the liberals and anti Trumpets think the world is going to end because they are still upset Trump won.

The entire Russian thing is a joke. Hillary has had outside influences before and hacking is nothing new. Russia never changed a single vote. If people can't understand why Hillary lost then they are the ones who are lost. Trump never colluded with Russia and even if he did it would not have changed anything. Trump is innocent. Now the crybabies want to see Trump impeached but Bill was Impeached and kept his job so still nothing changes. Trump is your president for the next 3+ years.

It is possible millions of illegals voted and dead people did vote etc but that does not change the fact that Hillary won 3 million more votes then Trump. This is actually a false representation of the majority of people because those votes came from California. The major cities in California voted heavily for Hillary while the farmers voted heavily for Trump. Across the country Hillary won the majority of big cities but not much else. So let's look at the results.

Trump won 30 states. Hillary won 20. (Minnesota, Maine and New Hampshire she barely won)
Trump won more than 2,500 counties. Hillary less than 500.
Trump took 220 Democratic Strongholds because 10 million Democrats never voted. Pueblo County, Colorado had not voted for a GOP in 45 years and the Democrats had a massive registered voter advantage. Trump took majority of votes there. He took Michigan. The state had not voted for a GOP since 1988.

Trump had more then 60 million votes but lost the total by about 3 million due to the high Latino population living in California.
Hillary scored well with Latino's/Illegals because of Trump wanting to deport them. Many Latino's admitted they did not like Hillary.
Hillary did ok with liberals but not as good with African Americans as Obama did. Trump did well with everyone else including christians and the blue collar working force. Trump never campaigned for total number of votes. He won 30 of the 50 popular votes for the EC.

So now the anti Trumpets, liberals and DNC say the Electoral College needs to be removed. This would be a bad thing. Only big cities would matter when it comes to the election. So 10 states would have all of the power and everyone else would not matter. The EC is there so New Hampshire and North Dakota still have a say on who our president will be or people in those states would not bother voting.

    So to recap:

    The DNC picked Hillary.
    The RNC picked Trump.

We had to choose between the two people as our president. I picked Trump for the reasons I stated above. He was the better choice.
Liberals/Anti Trumpets refuse to accept him so they start violent protests and act all crazy and radical. The election was fair. Trump won and is our president. His golfing trips and twitter rants while necessary are not a crime.

Maybe now you all will understand why we voted for him. He was the better of the two and had a much better campaign. He connected with America and had a far smaller list of things to worry about.

This is how bad some on the left have become. Trump supporters being attacked before and after the election. This did not help them win at all and it will not help them in 2020.

President Trump also supports gay marriage and he also supported partial birth abortion.

    http://www.politico.com/story/2016/11/donald-trump-same-sex-marriage-231310

Neither of those issues were why Hillary lost. If people voted for Trump because they thought he opposed them, they were sadly mistaken.

This video is a classic. This African American guy is wearing a Black Lives Matter T-shirt and attacked these young people for supporting Trump saying he wants to send all mexicans back to Mexico. These young people school him and remind him it is only illegals that will be deported. Everything this Hillary support says is lies and nonsense. Liberals/Anti Trumpets don't know what they are talking about.

Trump said he would not mess with Gay Marriage and he supported Christians more than Hillary ever did. Did you even read my post?

I have to go to work but I will respond to everyone when I get off later. It will be interesting to see Anti Trumpets try to tell me I am wrong when they know I am right.

Russia changed nothing. It is easy to see why Trump won and anyone who actually reads my post will understand this. Anti Trumpets are just to thick in the head and stubborn to admit they are wrong.

Of course I read your post. That's how I found the reference to partial birth abortion and gay marriage, which were in the middle of your very long, very rambling post.

What church does Trump attend? Which Christian religion does he support?

Thanks for ignoring what I posted. I'm not surprised. The facts about Trump don't sync with that part of your rant. There's a reason why Trump was a Democrat for most of his life, and why he supported Clinton for President in 2008. He's not any different than she is. He also supported her husband's assault weapons ban and President Obama's call for stronger gun control. The man is no more a Conservative or Republican than my pen.

So, by setting up a straw man defense is in a word remarkable-- Kinda makes it hard for any reasonable discussion----However,that being said
Here are a couple holes in your research----
All Federal Investigations about Foster including Republicans came to the conclusion that it was a suiside---
Bill Clinton did not rape anybody----
9 Congressional hearings about Benghazi found no wrong doing by SOS HILLARY---she would not have been able to save Steven's---if you had done a thorough research you would have found that it was the GOP that denied funding for Steven's to set up an Embassy in Benghazi-
Last I saw abortion is legal-granted it is a tuff subject--However,it is a Woman's right to choose--If you don't like HILLARY because of your stand on abortion's--that is the only excuse I will give you for not voting for her--being your such a Bible thumper -----
Sorry,I am neither stubborn or wrong---I believe that trump & his campaign colluded with the Russians to win the 2016 Presidential campaign & if we don't investigate on how it happened, the Russian's will keep doing it & perhaps the next time it isn't your pick that it helps!
Yes,let's investigate voter fraud, let's update the easy to manipulate voting data programs in every state--the results will not be what trump is going after, but it does stress the importance of the states to spend the money to secure our votes---
So, just remember this, you are buying into & believing in conspiracy theories & being stubborn--& to criticize & belittle anybody else that has a different opinion than you is hypocritical & not very christian----just saying----

I said Vincent Foster killed himself. Maybe you should reread my post. Clinton was the reason he decided to commit suicide as the FBI said.
Bill Clinton payed a woman $850,000 after she came out and said he raped her. We have proof of that and you want to say he never raped anyone? Benghazi was a mess. She may not have been able to prevent it but her attitude about the entire thing was horrible.

Russia never influenced a single vote in America. I am 100% sure of that. My point is Trump was the better of the two and you all can hate or dislike him. That is your right to do so but you all need to understand why he won and know that we saved you from the more scary person.

Trump may be for partial birth abortion but in the debate it was Hillary announcing to the world she was ok with abortion. Not Trump. Many christians viewed Hillary as a bad person and could not bring themselves to vote for her. I don't know if Trump has ever attended church. My point is christians generally saw Trump as a better human being than Hillary. I say this from my experience with my family and facebook. My wife is on facebook a lot and she was getting a lot of christian messages painting a bad picture of Hillary and for good reason. Everyone I know around here that is a christian besides one person did not want Hillary. One gal at work said she was a christian and that she voted for Hillary but I don't really know her well.

Trump may have been a Democrat most of his life but he ran as a Republican. He may not be conservative but he did connect with many conservatives.

My point is he was not Hillary and many saw him as the better of the two people. We only had two choices and Hillary was not going to happen. The main reason Hillary lost was the blue collar worker force. Trump supported them while Hillary ignored them. That and ten million Democrats could not even force themselves to vote for her.

His wife is Catholic and his charity has given millions to St. Judes children's hospital which was founded by a Catholic but is run as a non-denominational hospital. Trump is a Christian and was a Presbyterian but I don't think he is tied to a particular Christian dogma. Call him free-lance Evangelical. To whom does he make his charitable donations to? Ask the IRS.

Trump supports partial birth abortion. Trump supports gay marriage. Trump was a Democrat before he decided to sucker some Republicans into thinking he was one of us. He isn't.

Nobody cares about Facebook or what Christians think of Hillary. You were wrong when you tried to make the claim that she lost because of her opinions on partial birth abortion and gay marriage. He has the same opinions. If your point was that he simply suckered people into thinking he opposed both of them, you'd be correct.

Based upon the statements you made you didn't do research, you did rationalization. You started with an opinion and then provided supporting statements that were more misleading than truthful.

For example Hillary Clinton did not delete any of the emails on her private server. To avoid any claims of impropriety on her part she delegated the task of reviewing the emails to her attorneys so that the laws related to the retention of government emails would be complied with. Her attorneys would never intentionally commit an act in violation of the law. Her attorneys, using search criteria to expedite the process, sorted the emails into government emails that must be retained and turned over to the state department and personal emails that could be deleted. Based upon confidence in their sorting method the attorneys deleted what they believed were Clinton's personal emails that the government had not demanded. Hillary Clinton did not review, sort, or delete any of the emails on her private server.

Instead of doing research you simply tried to rationalize your opinion with conspiracy theories and misleading to false information. Research would have started with a simple election fact.

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote so more Americans wanted her to be president than wanted Donald Trump to be president.
Donald Trump won the Electoral College vote so he became president even though the majority of voters didn't want Trump to be president.

So why did Trump win the Electoral College vote is the key question to be researched and that takes us back to the beginning when the Electoral College was included in the US Constitution under Article II.

Federalist Paper #68 explains the Electoral College for us.

    http://www.constitution.org/fed/federa68.htm

The members of the Electoral College were to be selected by the people based upon their qualifications so that they, independent from any outside influence, could select the most qualified person to be the President of the United States. The president was not to be elected directly by the people (i.e. the popular vote) and the Electoral College members sure as hell weren't supposed to be selected by the political parties with a mandate to only vote for the party's candidate. The Electoral College members were to be highly distinguished individuals that were capable of determining what the nation required in the person that was to be the President and then independently, without any political influence from special interest groups, to select the most qualified person to fill that position.

By analogy the stockholders of a corporation do not select the CEO of the corporation by direct vote. They select the members of the Board of Directors of the corporation they are highly qualified related to the strategic objectives business but are not typically involved in the daily operations. The Board of Directors selects the Chief Executive Officer to oversee the daily operations. The Board of Directors is qualified to select the executives of the corporation while the stockholders are not qualified to select the executives of the corporation.

There isn't any group of highly qualified individuals, making them eligible to be independent Electoral College members, that know the prerequisite requirements for president, as well as the challenges the President that would face today, that would have ever selected Donald Trump to be president. Donald Trump was less qualified to be president than the typical high school student that's passed their US History and US government classes. It's equally doubtful that they would have selected Hillary Clinton either.

    So what went wrong?

That's easy to answer. As originally written in Article II, Section 1, Clause 3 there were some problems with how the Electoral College functioned in the selection of the President 1796 and 1800. Instead of addressing the problems the politicians changed the criteria that would give them political power over the process with the 12th Amendment. Between the 12th Amendment and the State Legislatures ability to select the Electoral College members in any manner desired we've ended up with a very corrupt Electoral College system that is not even close to achieving the goal of selecting the best possible candidate to become the President.

The independence of the Electoral College to review and select the President without any influence from special interests and/or political parties needs to be restored. Only then will we have the best possible selection process where the most qualified person will become the President and lead our nation.

We won't have a Donald Trump and we won't have a Hillary Clinton every being the President because they were not the most qualified people in the United States to be president.

The popular vote will never result in the President being the best person to lead our nation because the people are gullible, prejudiced, and consumed with self-interests. The Electoral College will not select the best person to lead our nation because it's been corrupted by the political parties and the Electoral College members have lost the independence they require to select the best possible person to be president.

We need to fix the Electoral College and return the political independence to it if we want to avoid a repeat of the disastrous 2016 Presidential election where the two primary candidates were both objectionable and where we ended up with the worst president in American history.

An excellent summary. Even so, you managed to fail to mention the two words that motivated me to vote for Trump: Neil Gorsuch. (Well, that, in combination with the two words that motivated me not to vote for the Dem: Hillary Clinton).

Careful. You will be blasted for being a heightist. :D

Well, the Dem's explanation of why Hillary Clinton lost -- basically Russia, Russia, Russia -- isn't making too much sense. So the question remains: how did President Trump get so many counties who voted previously for President Obama to flip and vote his way? That's a rather important question for Dems to answer, don't you think?

I guess you missed all of the news for the last few months sharing the results of the research being done by the Democrats to figure out why Obama voters flipped for Trump? Here's a link to one that addresses that very important question and what information the Democrats were able to uncover.

Yes, that's a good report. So it would seem safe to say that Obama-Trump voters were motivated primarily by economic concerns rather than anything else. Which is why the Dems better be hoping that the GDP doesn't start growing at better than the anemic rates we were seeing under the Obama administration, because if the economy starts to grow at a reasonable clip (4% or better), it won't bode well for whatever Dem gets tapped in 2020...

I don't know how smart the Dems are, considering they ran Hillary Clinton for President and made Debbie Wasserman-Schultz their national party chairman. But if they have even 4 or 5 functioning brain cells, they should have realized long before these evaluations were done that the voters in 2016 were voting based on the economy, especially those in the rust belt states.

    https://www.nytimes.com/2016/10/10/us/politics/bill-clinton-accusers.html
So,again, if you did a thorough research, you would find that the issue you are talking about pertaining to Bill Clinton,he was accused of sexual harassment by Jones (not rape),the Judge dismissed the lawsuit, but Jones appealed,Clinton paid her $ 850,000 to end the suit, but still maintaining he did no wrong---So,if you are going to accuse, please make sure you have your facts straight---just saying-----
However, along this same vein, you knew before the election that trump sexually harassed women & was accused of rape,(it is on tape with trump (access Hollywood admitting such sexual harrarment)& yet you voted for him anyway----So, you condemn & villify one, while dismiss the allegations of another---now that is the definition of a hypocrite.
You tell me where it says that according to the FBI--Clinton caused Foster to kill himself----link please--
I am 100% certain that trump colluded with the Russians to win the 2016 election-So----
What do you mean HILLARY'S attitude was horrible ?---that is your assumption & opinion, not fact---so much for your research-----
I completly disagree, you all got hoodwinked by a scary mentally ill carnival barker-trump-----

An interesting statement considering that Neil Gorsuch hadn't been mentioned as being a possible nomination to the Supreme Court in November of 2016 as well as the fact that in some decisions Gorsuch has arguable opposed the Constitution and/or the Law but has a 100% record in supporting the Republican agenda.

Can I assume that the selection of a justice based upon political ideology as opposed to support for the Constitution and the law was the motivating factor?

Gorsuch was in the list of 11 potential nominees that candidate Trump indicated he'd make his selection from back in September. And yes, I would have been happy with any one of those, as they are all top shelf.

As to your second statement, you can assume whatever you wish. If you're asking for my views on the subject, I believe support of the Constitution is primary and political ideology secondary. Unfortunately, Ginsburg and Sotomayor don't seem to see things that way.

Which of these two comments reflects the proper temperament of someone sitting on the high court?

I can't get involved in politics. There's judicial canons that prevent me from doing that. And I think it would be very imprudent of judges to start commenting on political disputes.

I can’t imagine what this place would be -- I can’t imagine what the country would be — with Donald Trump as our president. For the country, it could be four years. For the court, it could be -- I don’t even want to contemplate that.

You're so concerned about the political ideology of a Justice clouding their judgement, which of these statements concerns you more?

Someone care to explain what a "partial birth abortion"is? What they go in & take a finger or a toe?---Come on---THINK---!!!!
My opinion on you using religion to back up your assumptions---
First your statements in this post--sounds like you are being influenced by other people's opinion & assumptions---just a thought--perhaps those opinions & assumptions are wrong---try thinking for yourself once---
You are not the only person in the universe that knows the teachings of the Bible, please stop acting like your the righteous one---because you are not----
If you are going to claim you did your research, then give links to back up your claims--cause alot of your so-called research is wrong & easily disproven----
