Okay, but China is rapidly employing the same kind of automation that is coming here. It is a global phenomenon. China only uses humans at the moment because they work cheaply in those countries. And let's not forget it is often American corporations moving their factories and plants to places like China, Mexico and Bangladesh in order to drive wages,benefits and pollution standards as low as they possibly can to maximize profit. So it is your own corporations driving trade imbalances which you then blame foreign countries for.

Obama didn't strangle the economy. You can argue the methods but he did stabilize the banking system with bailouts and by his second term the economy was on the same trajectory it is now. I hated the bailouts as the massive corporate welfare scam that it was. But arguing that Obama strangled the economy is just ridiculous. He ruled from the right economically and kept the ship afloat after Clinton and Bush did their best to run it onto the rocks.
