This is an old debate and it is pointless trying to assert credibly that pitbulls are not extremely aggressive big biting dangerous bastards.

That's an entirely different matter then, and whilst accepting it was obviously an accident, my sympathies are for the unfortunate victim. Thanks for the info.

Just as an addendum though, whilst the dog might have just been growling, as an ex-RAF police dog handler (Alsatians), I can vouch for the fact that it can be very very scary when a dog like that curls its upper lip and exposes all those teeth. It has happened to me a few times in civilian life when out walking too, and on one occasion there were two of them: I'd emerged into a clearing from foliage cover and surprised them, and I literally froze with fear when the hackles and the upper lips went up. Thankfully they were obedient, and instantly returned to the owner when called.

Easy to take the moral high ground when you're not in the front line every single day of your working life?

As I've suggested, anyone who is crazy enough to own these breeds deserves to be torn apart by it, and I hope they are, before it sinks those fearsome fangs into a child. ****ing fools!

    You are.
Police is not a scarecrow or a bouncer. It's not a cat to chase the mouse when it runs. You run -> you have something to hide -> you get shot in the back. You haven't done nothing wrong - you don't have a reason to run.
You disobey the police or God forbid, try to touch an officer, you get shot. Again, police is there to enforce the law, not play hide and seek, or wrestle with criminals.
And of course, the 1 million dollar question - how do we know the police doesn't abuse their rights and just shoot you or humiliate you "for fun"? Answer - body cam. Everything should be recorded and documented, like in the video in the OP.

Car chases? Just "terminate" the run-away driver before someone else gets T-boned and hurt/killed, instead of chasing him for hours on busy streets. Evaporate him with a laser form a helicopter, shoot him with a sniper, I don't care, just take him down.

Of course, this is just a fiction story. It's just me imagining how the police SHOULD work.
If it was for me, I wouldn't want to be a police officer in any other circumstances. And certainly not a bobby in the UK, oh no!

    @Canell

You're so tactfully AVOIDING the videos I followed up with. The videos I posted a few posts back, nobody's running on them. Get a reality check, please. You should go and do that. You need it. Let's talk thread, and let's talk spot on. Stop avoiding my questions and my follow ups.

    Vielen Dank!

That's correct, an accidental killing is manslaughter, not murder. It should be investigated and determined if charges should be brought against him.

You dismissed a dog bite as nothing serious. I didn't watch the video and don't know what kind of dog it was but I was pointing out that dog bites from certain breeds can be deadly and worthy of using deadly force.

I'd say it was a pretty good kill. I won't be able to score that well. I'll aim before I discharge. But hey, that's just me.

Watch the video. You'll see the dog....not attacking the shooter, even after he shot the female.

Are you bruddas really NOT gonna comment on how the POs only thought was "Oh, I'm going to jail now!". I know, shock and all, but still, he didn't have that much shock if thinking about jail. But NOT about how he just slayed another mortal. And his colleague was the person who went and checked for vitals.

His using his handgun was wrong. His reaction to the fact that he kiiled another as a Copper is understandable and forgiveable. I am not condoning it, I am stating that I can undestand his shock and reaction.

    Bush, Guys,
I slayed a bird once. I cried. He slayed a human once. He's searching for his Get Out of Jail Free card. Oh, wait... Wait. I found it:

Bush, Guys, how do you think? Should we hand that card to the good Police Officer, or I don't know, keep it for someone else maybe, for ourselves maybe? Thanks.

The officer was not bitten by the dog. There is a photo taken by hospital staff of his leg that shows that he was not bitten. The officer used the dog as a scapegoat. The officers own statement does not say that he was bitten - it states that he had the sensation of being bitten. There was no reason to draw his gun. The dog can be seen in the video after the woman was shot. The dog even walks up to the woman as the officer on the ground was carrying out cpr and shows no aggression at all. Manslaughter at a minimum

As I stated, I did not watch the video and my post was not directly related to whether the officer was right or wrong. I was disagreeing with the poster about his dismissing the danger of dog bites.

Fictional drama shows don't represent reality. The simple fact is that the average British police officer never encounters any kind of firearm and there are armed officers available in the rare cases that does happen. It's not a perfect solution but then neither is routinely arming all officers as the case in this thread shows, but it's the one that works best for us.

So you want a world where nobody, including police, make mistakes or do something bad. You want life among 350 million to be utter perfection. That is unreasonable and not the case in your country either. If you fear the police then you probably should. I don't lead a criminal life so I don't fear them. I support them. As I said don't come here. It is fine with us.

All life is precious, and you only have one life. Should be treated as such, sir. In my country car accidents are the number one reason for manslaughter. That's like almost all my life I've driven cars no smaller than the G-Wagen LWB and I avoid the busy roads especially around the holidays.

"Won't be fine with you" when you get yourself into a deadly encounter. Always be humble, my brother. Always.

    Greetings, brotha.

I actually do believe in the afterlife but what about if that lady wanted to live in this life lol. It's kind of her choice, I believe.

And no mutra lol. Of course not lol. Mutras don't use forums, especially American ones. Mutras use bars and clubs where they deal dope lol I guess.

But I've heard people say that a ton of times to me. I used to have a very short hair, almost clean shaven. And I'm pretty well built, always was. 220 on 5'11. Combine the G-Wagen with me guns that print in the summer, spring and autumn and we have the full picture complete. I actually hate mutras in my gut and had quite a few encounters with them. They disgust me. They're low IQ, obnoxious, insanely aggressive, always trying to prove something, showing off tattoos, showing off in general, being as loud as possible, and such matters. My ex was actually from the most crime ridden city where God even won't help you. My biggest mistake in life to get involved with a girl from this area. So for these animals it's totally okay to try and push you around, on traffic lights, in stores, not to even mention bars, cafes, restaurants where there's always some mutra schmuck trying to test you out for some reason. In lands like such only a true show of force works. Sit and then open carry in such places and they're gonna sh*t their pants and leave you alone. Open carry in the car too so if you need to come out of the vehicle, they're gonna start popping pills out of their rump. But with a CQC Serpa of course, with the locking mechanism, don't want that snatched out of you and stolen.

    @Canell

I'm a web designer and a writer. I also do logos, from time to time. No dope dealer or a lowlife scumbag. I get paid to write for blogs, books, newspapers. Mostly right-wing. A few instances where I've written for the left. I dislike it. I always charge more, usually a few times more if it's some dusty left-wing propaganda subject. But I will write on it as long as I'm being paid. But that's my fight. Get their money, but charge them more.

I'm also pretty good at web design. I'd say pretty good. Not the best but... Yeah. Here everything it's underdeveloped and I don't have business here. I don't write in my own language since nobody pays for that around here. Nobody does nothing here besides sell cheap goods imported from China. It's reality.

The only business that prospers here is selling cheap fake stuff, working at a bar, and sell cars or real estate. That's not prosperity. They're getting nowhere. Nobody opens factories, nobody produces anything. It's really sad.

That's OK but can't you buy a normal car/SUV instead of driving hard core mutra Gelendwagen?

I got into an accident in 2014. A Ford Transit full of meat to the top, hard rammed me from behind with around a 100 mph; driver was texting while driving. Speed limit was 60 mph. He was 40 over the top. Bus driver came out of the front window as well as his engine and his radiator were on the asphalt. It was hell of a hit, my first road accident and I almost sh*t myself.

I had a scratched back door, scratched bumper, and a busted left taillight. The cube saved my life and I will forever be grateful for it. The car had no serious damage, and I had no damage on meself besides being sh*tless scared. I also love off-roading in the Mountains. It also has fully lockable differentials out of the factory. I'm talking 100% locking diffs. All Gs have that.

Unrelated but car got some drivetrain and engine trouble so I sold it. In the "I'm Bulgarian" thread, my first, I've posted some photos if you want to check it out.

P.S. It's called Geländewagen. Gelände means off-road. Pronounced "gelende", and together "gelendevagen".
