Everything Trump is doing democrats were traditionally for. Getting out of wars and against unfair trade. It's like the dems are becoming neocons now and that is scary.
If Bush is so great, he should be helping Trump in 2020 right? oh that's right Trump doesn't want his criminal a**.
Democrats might as well skip the 2020 election, they won't win anyways. It will be an entertaining circus though.
Because it has been so entertaining watching those with TDS melting down for the past 28 months but all of the obstructionism and sedition is getting counter productive for America.
One of the many, many reasons to vote him out. Economics used to be one of the few things conservatives were strong on. Trump managed to screw up even that.
Econ 101 disagrees. No, it didn't. Factory jobs lost =/= net jobs lost. I'd love to see any evidence that we lost jobs overall with trade. Any evidence at all. I've been asking for years and the anti-capitalists have thus far failed to deliver. Maybe you'll be the first to back this claim up?
Incorrect...ever since they started selling the trickle down snake oil, the GOP has been morphing into a crime syndicate whose main function is to funnel money from the treasury tp the top.
What I said has nothing to do with "trickle down" economics, just the basic concept of trade, which can be found on the left and the right of economics. If you buy anything, ever, then you fundamentally understand the concept that trade is not a zero sum game, unlike Trumpists.
When you mentioned economics I was thinking of their total fabricated BS about the right being fiscally conservative. I can recall how the Tea Party was all bent out of shape about government spending and how jerkwads like Ted Cruz sailed into office on that tack and yet not a peep now. As for trade...it does not seem to bother them at all that Trump manufactured his rags in China and Mexico nor does the socialism of giving funds for farm subsidies. They can eat poop and bark at the moon. I take nothing a current right winger says as serious content for debate.
You're last sentence says it all. All the democrats need is an decent candidate. Hopefully one that is attractive to the independent vote. Hillary wasn't. 70% of independents had an unfavorable view of her vs. 57% for Trump. Independents voted for Trump, independents put Trump into the White House. Questions 10 and 11. https://d25d2506sfb94s.cloudfront.net/cumulus_uploads/document/l37rosbwjp/econTabReport_lv.pdf The recent problem with our primary system is the far right has taken over the GOP, the far left the Democratic Party. We just had an election where most Americans wanted neither on to be their next president. If the Democrats don't want a repeat of 2016, they need to start paying attention to what independents think of the candidates. I know, they don't have to. The Democrats can once again ignore independents, but do so is at their own peril. Independents now make up 40% of the electorate, the largest faction, the biggest chunk of the electorate. Larger than those who identify as Democrats, larger than those who identify as Republicans. Nominate another Hilary Clinton type candidate or a far left wacko who independents dislike more than Trump, you only have to look at 2016 for the results.
