Look closer in inventory of the in 9/1939 existing Tank units of Wehrmacht and you see that they are only in very few numbers existing. The majority was Panzer I, II + several III and IV models and for the success of the Poland attack the 35(t) and 38(t) was unimportant ... other as later in France where they were very important!

I actually mentioned the use of the 38T as a superior replacement for the PI and PII but that was conveniently ignored but I don't agree that the 38T was unimportant.

Of course is the 38(t) superior as the Mark I and Mark II ... but again: At invasion of Poland the 38(t) and the 35(t) played a minor role, simply due to the numbers in inventory of the Panzerdivisions! Here the Mark I and II played the major role as later in the West too, simply due to their huge number!
Of course were both helpless if they met a superior French or British tank and here were then both Czech and the Mark III and IV the backbone ... aside Anti Tank guns!

So ... I did never say that both Czech were unimportant at all, but they were unimportant for any outcome of the Attack on Poland!

You have decided to enter into a dispute about the number of Czech tanks, which used the Wehrmacht in Poland. >>>>>>> 100 or 200.
This is despite the fact that the The Wehrmacht had 2500 tanks
Poles had only 150 tanks (the rest - tankettes with a machine gun)

If you think that this small change ( 100 or 200 ) has a significant, ........ - this means that the topic hasn't errors larger than 100 Czech tanks from total 2500 in the Polish company.:clapping:

I agree with you. - " it is more wasted time as useful".

Czech tanks have played a small role in Polish companies, but no one said that their role was great.

In 1939 the Germans had 5 tank divisions and none of them had any Czech tank in inventory. The only divisions which used in Poland Czech tanks was the 1st Light Division with 112 tanks of the model Panzer 35(t) ... and 7 of them were lost in Poland!
The 3rd light division had 57 tanks of model Panzer 38(t) of which also 7 were lost in Poland ... no one lese used Czech tanks in Wehrmacht in 1939.

After Poland, more Panzerdivisions were build up and the following of them had Czech tanks as main inventory:

    6. Panzerdivision = former 1. Light Division with their left Panzer 35(t)
    7. Panzerdivision = former 2. Light Division with Panzer 38(t) and commander here was Erwin Rommel
    8. Panzerdivision = former 3., Light Division with Panzer 38 (t)

So again: in comparison to the total number of German tanks, these 169 Czech tanks played no significant rule in Poland ... BUT THEY DID IN FRANCE 1940!
So to say the loss of CSR gave Germany the capacity for attack on Poland because Czech tanks is wrong! The occupation gave Germany of course a capacity and better position in 1939 ... and for sure the Czech tanks strengthen the German Armored Division for 1940 significant!

But in all things ... anyone here knows that not only Germany took land of CSR? Also Hungary and Poland did in 1939 before outbreak of WW-2! Poland occupied the so called region of Teschener Land and Hungary the complete border area and East Slovakia!

I'm not too sure about that as majority of BEF tanks were light MkV tanks with only a few Matilda's and cruiser tanks.

I didn't accuse you of the first part that sentence. I don't agree that the 38T was unimportant in Poland as roughly 180 38T supplemented the combined number of PIII and IV's which numbered roughly 280 tanks. But I agree that it was not critical for the inclusion of these tanks.

... And you should take into account that the attack on Poland was not a "Blitzkrieg" style attack as it is often told wrong in publications. This attack was pure old fashioned Prussian General Staff planning and tactic - keyword is "clamp movement" of 2 wings to encircle the enemy.
The tank played here a minor role in the tactic and all planning and the time tables etc. were done on scale of marching infantry men, not on mobile motorized forces.
An evidence for this is for example given when the tank force under General Guderian was again and again stopped by the High Command, because he was too fast for the rest! There was a little case when the high command ordered him to take a village next day and he answered that he is still since 3 hours through it and it is still under control.
