I bought 200 rounds of ammo today. I'm finding it regularly.

 

They're still coming to Texas for the jobs and more affordable housing. Even though they loathe everything Texans believe.

But don't worry, they're already planting seeds and are going to terraform your state into a replica of their home they left. They're not that far away from that.
Pretty much all the big cities in Texas are no longer part of "Texas" any longer.

 

I know this all too well. Even my 82 year old uncle moved back to Texas this year and he is now a flaming lib. I think the lady buying my old house is from California, as well as over 1/2 of the new neighbors who have moved into my neighborhood in the last few years.

 

I got a buddy with plenty of private land out in the woods I can go out there anytime I want and shoot whatever I want.

Never been to a gun range I don't I don't see why I would go. Just go out in the woods and blast away.

Although living in LA I could see the difficulty there

 

I always thought that to a large degree liberals bring their political views with them. I guess I am lucky. After years of having no close neighbors a family moved about 100 yards from my house in West VA. They were from Manhattan NYC of all places. Shortly after arrival they stopped by my house to introduce themselves to my wife and I. I was later told that as they walked up my driveway and saw Trump signs they were a afraid of being shot. Now, several years later they are more conservative than I am.

 

Are regular citizens really being denied permits to carry a firearm in LA?

Here in VA, it's up to the chief local LEO in the individual counties to determine who gets a permit and who doesn't so even in the Democratic controlled cities and counties permits to carry are normally issued to any qualified applicant.

 

My county in Northern Colorado has more licensed CCW holders than LA County does.

 

I lived in VA for many years. Probably thanks to the VCDL, a group every VA gun owner should join, VA is a must issue State. Unless the local Sheriff has a reason, e.g., felony conviction he must issue you a permit. If he does not you can sue him in court. CA is a State that can issue or not issue a CCW. You do not have a right to a CCW in CA. Political contributions seem to help the process.

It happens on a regular basis, got the bucks get a permit, not much money but need a permit = denied.

 

Come to Florida we have 1.7 million license holders in this state.

 

Thanks, I'm already a member of VCDL but you just reminded me that I need to renew my membership dues.

I was aware that VA is a "must issue" State and have never had a problem getting a permit but simply assumed that getting a CCW permit in CA was about as difficult as getting one in NYC.
I think that Virginia gun owners will be OK now that we've flushed the Democratic State government.

 

You have reminded me I need to renew my WVCDL membership. I believe that the WVCDL was modeled on the VCDL. The VCDL is a great organization as is the WVCDL.

Usually, I drive about an hour to the desert. My gun club is only 5 minutes from my home for quick trips!
