    Why 'the right'? You don't have to be right wing to realize the harm Socialism can do and what happens when the power of the government gets into the wrong hands.

    You hear Americans complaining now that the President is a 'Racist', a 'Nazi' a 'Fascist' and every other damned thing but they haven't a clue about what genuine Racists, Fascists and Nazis really get up to. But those who have experienced genuine Socialism certainly do.

    People have fought for centuries to be free of powerful government, starting with the Magna Carta over 1000 years ago, and now these hopelessly stupid people want to give it all back to them. We can mock them and laugh at them but this deeply held ignorance, when it gets sufficient power, never turns out well.

    All Clinton did was sign a bill that had been passed veto proof anyway. Blame Gingrich's Goons for that one, and the 2nd Great Depression.

    There area plenty of people who have lived under right wing dictators in the world too. And while we've never had one in the USA , YET, we've come close, Ever hear of Senator McCarthy?

    Magna Carta is sort of beyond right and left wing isn't it?

    Whit all that capitalism and money you have you cant fix your own educations system and healthcare let alone should you have the right to preach to others what to do. So start with your self and others will follow, it's simple. But I'm guessing it's not about helping anyone it's about plundering them? Am I right? The Oil needs to be converted to American oil :D

    I'm not blaming anybody. I'm pointing out that the bill was created by a Republican, and Republicans and Democrats in Congress passed the bill. All Clinton did was sign it.

    Thank you for sharing your opinion of things. I stand by my comments that Socialism did not ruin the Venezuelan economy and that such claims are Right wing propaganda rather than factual information. My comments do not support socialism, and I haven't offered an opinion about any of that or about Trump.

    I might be wrong, but you seem to have assumed that because I'm not on board with the idea that socialism tanked Venezuela, I must be a Democrat who prefers socialism. That would be a binary, us vs. them kind of reaction--something inherent in the propaganda.
