    I read through all the posts in this thread and little was very enlightening. Of course the Russians are engaging in Cyberwar and so are we. This battle for control of the mind of the public is not new. The net is just a new tool.

    That said, I do not have much concern about the Russians. Their impact is nothing in comparison to the war that is being waged on US citizens by our own Gov't in its quest for more power and control.

    In 2013 it became legal for our intelligence agencies to create and disseminate propaganda on US citizens. This is the real threat .. not the Russians.

    This Russian nonsense is being used and an excuse to increase Gov't control through censorship. This censorship is already happening on sites like facebook, google, and youtube. The Gov't wants to censor any ideas that conflict with the plethora of false narrative that is being thrust on the US public.

    There is little or no risk to our way of life and the security of our rights and individual liberty from Russia. The threat is from our Gov't. .... Full Stop.

    Is the argument that Russian trolls persuaded BLM to buy into a false narrative? Policemen aren't racists after all? Trump isn't a white supremacist, or promoting racial divisions? I mean, I never subscribed to either phony preposition, but BLM relied on Facebook to define it's grievances? When might all those persons wrongly defamed by BLM expect to receive an apology?

    Yes, but don't dare insinuate it's an act of desperation ... that's "projecting". Apparently the tactic is challenge posters to "debunk" articles, rather than debate the topic the article relates to. Russian trolls whipped BLM into an anti-Trump frenzy. OK. How does this not work to Hillarys advantage? "You can't debunk" ... :confuse: I concede trolls may have influenced someone, but the premise that the outcome favored Trump doesn't seem plausible from what's been revealed.

    I'm going out on a limb here... But I'm betting our Russia truther friends are the Russian troll farms we hear so much about, from them. Appearantly they think these troll farms are super powerful and Putin runs the world. Seems a bit "odd" to me.
