First you refuse to admit that you receive a federal subsidy for your insurance yhat other Americans do not get, then you make up another untruth.

Your annual $250 billion entitlement is not in any way impacted by the Affordable Care Act. Quite the contrary, it depends upon its continuance.

Withholding funds is a legitimate means. It is even Constitutional. Obama previously negotiated with conservative Democrats that did not want to raise the debt ceiling.

 

Intentionally and knowing harming America because you cannot achieve your political goals thru legitimate means is never appropriate.

If Obama were threatening to destroy the economy if the House didn't agree to a 10% tax increase on millionaires he'd be just as wrong as the Republicans are.

It is not legitimate to operate through the extortion of intentionally and knowingly harming your country. It is what terrorists and traitors do.

 

Sorry, by self-insuring, your company qualifies for the subsidy.

If offering group insurance did not entitle businesses to the $250 billion annual tax exemption, few, if any, would offer plans, and you would have to pay full premium in the free market like all other Americans.

Ah, a tax exemption, as if our money belonged to the government. That is different than the socialist redistribution of wealth where they steal from one to give to another.

 

I can see that you are loather to acknowledge the fact that you benefit from the federal subsidy for which 48 million Americans do not qualify. If you decided to go the free market route (like me, as a self-employed American taking responsibility for my medical expenses and those of my family) and actually paid your own way, how much more expensive would it be for you without your federal benefit?

The fact is the Republicans are in a lose, lose situation.

They can fold under and look weak, which will make Obama look strong, or they can stay the course and then Obama can swoop in at the last minute and save the day with the 14th Amendment Option, and look strong and decisive.

The only choice the Republicans have now, is which way they want to lose.

All Obama has to do is sit back and watch them sweat.
