That's exactly the aberrant notion the Democrats want the TPs to cling to, even as the American People grasp the reality and properly assess culpability..

The wacko birds' shutdown of public services made no difference in the implementation of the Affordable Care Act whatsoever.

You mean like the Senate refusing to bring any of the appropriation bills to the floor for a vote. Example. The military appropriations bill passed the house 421 to 4 yet the Senate leader refused to bring it to a vote. These are the kind of shenanigans that make them have to vote on a Continuing Resolution. I wouldn't be surprised if it weren't planned just to have a showdown. Since they know the MSM is a mouthpiece for the Administration, they knew how the propaganda would play. Brilliant politics you might say, but politics at the cost of the Nation.

The President and Democrats have played a bully game that does not foster cooperation, from pushing through gigantic legislation using procedural tricks without one minority vote and affects the future of the Nation and undermines the financial credibility to refusing to negotiate.

Might as well keep the thread going for a few more months. I think the shutdown was only put off until February. So just in time for some nice fat blizzard, the GOPtards will shut down the government again. Let's just hope no Federal Agencies are needed to save stranded Americans that are stuck in vehicles. Because then the GOPtards will have actual blood on their hands from these partisan pi$$ing wars.

The federal government was never anywhere near to an actual shutdown. They will never shut themselves down.

    That's our job.

That will be the sycophantic narrative by the haters but the truth is that democrats have refused to pass budgets since Obama has been in office, the only reason we have these CRs. We are still working on a 2008 budget baseline.

I am certain the democrat leaders, Vallerie Jarrett and Harry Reid plan to keep using this tactic since the MSM is a WH mouthpiece.

Hardcore true believers will try to spin it whatever way they wish.

Republican Congressman Peter King captured the verdict of the American People for you: "This party is going nuts. So many people I run into who are normal people -- and I hate to use that term -- they just can't understand what's going on. On this one they can't even see both sides. They just think Republicans are crazy. That's it. They see no justification for any of this."

With the disapproval of Republicans in Congress at 20%, it's vital that the TP types not come to grips with reality, whilst the civil war is allowed to rage.

Only would fact confuse liberals as spin. Of course you cannot prove me wrong, only that you don't want to believe it. Now, tell me what the budget baseline is that Congress is working off of?
