    I don't think the N word was the whole problem. It was the fit he threw over the kneelers.
    A lot of people thought the kneelers had the right to kneel.

    So the only possible issue is the n-word

    But the story barely mentioned it

    Which means it may be fake news

    All the democracies are being threatened with restrictions on free speech. It's a war that we cannot afford to lose. Getting it back will be far more difficult once it's gone.

    Why do you suppose that you find it necessary to defend folks who would actively work against a basic tenant of this country? If free speech is not free and folks work actively to stifle your speech, how is that justifiable? Sure, you can not buy a product, but the defacto approach here is that folks are choosing to attack the freedom of legitimate speech in this country, and you seem to be defending them.

    My Faux news comment may admittedly be unoriginal but as a news source, the description is pretty accurate.

    Fox follows the neo- conservative hard right bias of it's owner. If you are getting your information or having your opinions i fluenced by the likes of TC, Hannity or Ingram, then you are living in a Universe of alternate facts and corporate propaganda largely divorced from the reality outside the confines of privileged elites who have the time and comfort to indulge such fantasy.

    This is infotainment for right-wingers stoking misinformation and divisive, psuedo-issues that have little to do with the interests of ordinary Americans.

    CNN is not much better. It is all corporate media and all of it is in the infotainment Business.

    You would serve yourself much better by diversifying your source of of information.

    Just because one WP columnist thinks Fox got everything right does not mean that has any meaning in the real world.

    Best comment I have seen in awhile. It is the truth. This forum is an island in a ocean of madness. Make no mistake, many people on this forum would have their lives destroyed if their identities were known and the twitter mob got wind of their thought crimes. I have never witnessed viciousness at the level that the left is currently operating at. They rarely if ever engage arguments anymore, it is all about destroying the life of the person who said something they disagree with.

    Right wing talk radio really started the trend toward attacking personalities and demonizing opponents back in the nineties and it really took off with propaganda during the Iraq war against anyone who opposed.

    Then there was the birther thing against Obama.
