Believe as you wish, dude. I don't have kids and don't give a **** what happens in 100 years. Obviously you don't either.

I tell them over and over that this strongly implies humans can manage climate globally. When i say humans manage climate, suddenly they back off and reverse course to say we only impact on it. I think a controls engineer could explain to them an impact means you control. We do not control climate. We would definitely work to end hurricanes and tornadoes if we could. CONTROL over humans is the aim of Democrats/loyalists to their ideology, simple as that.

Look at the state of the Automobile for crying out loud. They are now reverting to the sizes of the 1930s. Tiny cars are more common. And they are death traps in my view. I know one thing. If I am hit in my car, chances are the other car gets destroyed and mine ... i survive the crash impact.

You mean based on the hysteria. Did your ancestor worry about what happened to you?

Max, this is the side of you I do not enjoy. The snarky talks. Why do that?

Anything in excess of required amount can be a pollutant - even DHMO

Carbon Dioxide is like the silver on the back of the mirror - the glass itself can be as thick as you like it is the micro millimetre coating on the back that does all the reflecting

That snark in no way reflects what I believe. I have children and grand children. I certainly do not want them harmed.

Max, given that enormous truck and trailer, how can you complain about carbon dioxide? Given you fly, how can you go wild over carbon dioxide? What has been your means to curtail carbon dioxide? You dump Carbon Monoxide into the atmosphere a lot. So why this tirade vs CO2?

    Translation: You're correct, Max. Screw'em.

Scientifically, CO2 is a pollutant. It's an academic discussion. The human race might wipe itself out or it might not. Either way, it's likely I won't be around to see it, so I'm more focused on my retirement....which includes a Dodge 3500 4x4 welding truck with 5th wheel package:

Robert, I'm not going wild, I'm being scientifically accurate. It's one thing to say "Yes, CO2 can be a pollutant, but only in high enough quantities. In sufficient quantities anything can be a pollutant including chocolate pudding" and it's another to be in complete denial.

I don't plan on curbing CO2. Let human beings in the 22nd Century worry about it. If it kills them, so what? You and I will be dead.

Welding is a hobby now, but my retirement job in a couple years. My wife hates the Texas summers, so we'll head north and west up and down the Rockies spending three months in a cooler climate living in a 28'-32' 5th wheel trailer and KOA camps. I'll take my welding equipment and write it all off as a "business deduction" by doing occasional work.

EDIT: That's not my truck, just a picture of the type I'm looking for. I'll have a smaller stick/TIG welder on it (and maybe MIG welder) plus bottles.

    It's not snark, it's fact.

People harm each other all the time. Sometimes deliberately and sometimes out of ignorance.

l'm looking forward to it. We'd considered all kinds of options including buying a small home near a lake, just buying property and setting up a trailer and finally this plan. In the end, this works better for us.
