Trump's primary advisor speaks frankly; “I’m a Leninist,” Bannon proudly proclaimed. ... “Lenin,” he answered, “wanted to destroy the state, and that’s my goal too. I want to bring everything crashing down, and destroy all of today’s establishment.” "Under Lenin's administration, Russia and then the wider Soviet Union became a one-party socialist state. IS THAT WHAT YOU VOTED FOR WHEN YOU VOTED FOR TRUMP? Inside the White House, Mr. Bannon said, everything is going according to plan. The “deconstruction of the administrative state” has just begun. Sure, Trump’s “fine-tuned machine” may look to everyone else like a chaos engine. But chaos is the goal. Every cabinet appointment diametrically opposed to the agency they’re named to head, every sensible regulation tossed in the trash, everything simply done worse … is better. For Steve Bannon. Because worse is what he wants. Confusion is better than clarity. Destruction is the plan. If this doesn't scare the excrement out of you, then you are living in some dream world where the United States of America will somehow survive this abominable group of miscreants!
So he wants to fundamentally transform the government? I doubt he'll find many of his supporters who oppose this. That is what he was elected to do. Get rid of the waste, get back to doing the job of the federal government as outlined in the constitution, and get out of my business! As for being a one party state, if the alternate is to have democrats, then a one party state is fine with me.
Yes, a transformation, but when he and Trump get done with things, there wont be a federal government, or any government. The state as it were will simply no longer exist. Just as the quote in the OP explains. But where the OP gets it wrong, is that it wont be a socialist system put in place as the state's replacement,...but the far superior NAP. -Atem
I watched Steve @ CPAC. I don't recollect him saying word one in the OP. Setting that aside, the OP sounds more like an ObamaniaFantasy... The Constitution being all "Fundamentally Flawed" & all...
No. The OP fails to understand Bannon, who like most conservatives wants to shrink the federal government, and reduce federal mandates in contradiction of states legislation. Bannon wants to destroy federal bureaucracies.
Incredible! How do you justify a one party system and believe in the Constitution? You cannot have both, pal.
Where do you see pruning in "Destruction is the plan." The man is talking about chopping down the tree, nothing less!
Wow, really? Hum.... THAT'S what you got from Bannon's words and my bringing them to your attention? I find that totally incredible. Well, ignorance IS bliss, they say.
