Tucker Carlson and many RP politicians oppose military aid to Ukraine. Alas.

Fear and hesitation are certainly understandable.

Nevertheless, IMO, NATO should provide Ukraine with the weapons necessary to push the Russian invasion force out of Ukraine or destroy it in place w/o further hesitation.

What is going to be there after this conflict is over? We are setting up a new regional power, what kind of government will it be and what will it's relationship in the world be? We should be a bit cautious at a minimum.

I agree. IMO, everyone who acts to slow or stop a Ukrainian victory over Russia will become political pariahs.

Ukraine has not engaged in an aggressive war of conquest. IMO, Neutralizing the Russian threat to world peace should be the highest priority for the US, NATO, the EU, and every member nation of the UN. Even Putin's former supporters, Orban and Zeman, have denounced Russia's gross violations of international law.

“Why it matters: As the Western world seeks to make Putin an international pariah, even his ***closest allies are resisting*** showing support for his assault on Ukraine.

Driving the news: Czech President Milos Zeman and Hungary’s Prime Minister Viktor Orban, both historically strong pro-Russian voices in the European Union, condemned the affront as ***"an unprovoked act of aggression,"*** AP reports."Russia has committed a ***crime against peace***,” Zeman said.
    • Zeman, who earlier this week insisted that Russia wouldn't attack Ukraine, changed course and has ***called for harsh sanctions*** against Russia, including pulling out of the SWIFT financial system.
    • Orban, who has pursued a diplomatic and economic strategy with Putin called "Eastern Opening," condemned "Russia's military action."
    • “Hungary’s position is clear: ***we stand by Ukraine***, we stand by Ukraine’s territorial integrity and sovereignty,” said Hungary's Foreign Minister Peter Szijijarto, per AP.”

Pablum. Without Lend-Lease, the Soviet Union falls. This was said by no less than STALIN. (Time Magazine, "One War Won.") By 1944, it was common for a Soviet soldier to ride west in a train pulled by an American locomotive (2,000 delivered-two locomotives in three and half the rolling stock was American by then), ride to the front in an American 2.5 ton truck (the Soviets got 400,000+, enough that Joseph Stalin personally sent a letter of thanks to Studebaker), eat American rations (4.4 million tons delivered) while riding on T-34s built with American machine tools, and go into combat supported by Katyushas on American trucks, firing rockets filled with American explosives (about HALF what the Red Army used was imported), covered by aircraft (many of them P-39 Airacobras, which the Soviets loved) burning American avgas (more than half was American, including every drop of high-octane fuel-the Russians, at the time, couldn't make it).

Tyvm for sharing your research. Here is another good source:

“A remark by a captured German soldier best summarizes the importance of logistics in the battle for Europe in World War II. As he was marched past one of the many roadside supply dumps that dotted the Normandy landscape in the wake of the invasion, he was heard to remark "I know how you defeated us. You piled up the supplies and then let them fall on us." He was right. The war in Europe was what the Germans called materialschlact, "matériel battle." It was a "matériel battle" on a scale greater than any other conflict in history, a contest pitting the industrial capacities of Germany and the United States against each other. In the end, triumph was the result of the ability, of the United States to mobilize its industrial capacity" to provide the instruments of war for its troops and those of its allies and to deliver them where and when they were needed--to pile them up and let them fall.”

I see the nazi supporters and war mongers are all in for ukie land. @Heartburn said up the page "What is going to be there after this conflict is over?"----- the question is "What is there now?".

And I'll answer that question with questions...

What kind of country bans speech? Bans religion and raids churches? Bans democracy and voting? Nationalizes all industry? Bans all political opposition? Bans all TV except for the one Zelensky partly owns? What kind of country celebrates a nazi collaborator with a national holiday? Names streets that lead to the place of historic jewish atrocities after nazi collaborators? Incorporated Neo-nazis into the country's military? Commits ethnic genocide on a daily basis? Burns its own people alive?

^^^^^^^ all that is worse than North Korea....China....and even the Taliban.

Yet there are some just cheering them on :cheerleader:

    How pathetic.

And just because the swamp picked that side to profit.

    You got got.

    Tucker is right.

    Really?
Why did they start this, is it because the LameStream media didn't cover the fact that this war had been going on 8 years prior to 24 Feb 2022? With the help of the USSD, NATO and a Ukrainian puppet government had been shelling the Donetsk region in the 8 years prior. With countless warnings by Putin to cease and desist, Ukraine and NATO dishonoured not one, but two Minsk agreements that assisted with the continuation of the conflict that never got mentioned on prime-time LSM.
Let's not forget to mention the fact that when Boris Johnson was still in parliament, he visited Zelensky and gave him his ultimatum. Do not press forward with these peace talks with Russia, otherwise, you'll not get any further support from NATO. Most don't want to mention Putin wanted peace, but the western governments don't want peace, they want Russia. For at least the last 100+ years.
Who wants nuclear weapon exchanges, does Russia, or is this another fallacy bought by many sold by LSM? The US are the aggressors who want nuclear war. Russia is merely responding to the threats from the US.

But alas, no one will know the truth until they stop referring to LSM as a source of the facts.

Pardon me Jack for raining on your parade, my firehose has sprung a leak.
When there is sufficient evidence that supports what I and others have stated, it is far from a conspiracy theory and your Rand corporation firehose bullshit. For you sir, it is purely denialism.

The "coup" is a creation of Russian disinformation.
Russia's puppet leader of Ukraine was ousted by a popular uprising.
And Russians still haven't learned anything. There's a reason why the Ukrainians want to fight and the Russians don't.

The "coup" is also a Russian big lie, in that they just keep repeating it until people believe it. Hitler's playbook is Putler's playbook.
