European colonialism is arguably no more or less than the most recent example of colonialism. Enacted on a far grander scale than other episodes before it? Yes. And as a result producing far more suffering due to its scale? Quite possibly. (Albeit you'd still have to adjust for differences in population density to get the real picture of the disruption earlier episodes caused). But at heart its no different to any other such episode of history. Africa, Asia, the Americas, all have grand acts of barbarity and cruelty written into their histories with nary a white guy in sight.

Ukraine was killing its own ppl . NATO was clearly happy with this (many think NATO was directly involved in the coup) but Putin could stand by no longer, the terrorists in Ukraine had to be dealt with.
