The great patriot seems to not have much of an idea of what the founding documents of the nation he has sworn to defend and protect under its laws actually say.

And yet his supporters wrap themselves up in the flag claiming their dear leader is making america great again. Except of course that America was designed to PREVENT the abuses of tyranny.

Trump has not only betrayed American values, he has betrayed Republican values. He's not a conservative. Religious values? Forget it! Limit spending? Limited government? ... none of that...

And he has dragged a large portion of the right down with him to this ...no values, no convictions, no ideas, no principles land

I think one day many of these right-wingers will come out of their stupor and ask themselves: "what am I doing?" But unless they do it now, they will have buried their principles deep in the sand.

That's what you get when you commit to the rule of just one individual. Once the individual is gone... there is nothing left.

You really expect to get a straight answer to that question from folks gullible enough to accept CNN as the final authority?

 

Yes, his insistence he has "absolute rights" to do what he wants is ridiculously absurd and there ain't no context in which that is acceptable.

Its amazing how many true patriots are so absolutely ignorant of their own constitution and how their government works.

What would you have done as president? Since you are criticizing Trump for what he did, then you must have some ideas about what you would do now. Certainly none of the democrats have until well after the fact.

 

It’s not our fault you’re ignorant of what the powers our presidents have and what the constitution dictates.

The president could declare martial law and has every right to do so under the constitution. Subsuming powers from the states to the federal government. Though it wouldn’t be a good idea, he has absolute authority to do so.

Lead. Here in Oregon, we have a good strong leader in Governor Kate Brown. She was one of the first governors to close down the state and enforces social distancing. The outbreak in Oregon, even though it was one the earliest, has yet to amount to anything.

China is a much larger country, yet the larger outbreak is in the US. Trump seems lost on the subject. It may just be that the best thing that Trump can do is self quarantine and leave governing to the professionals. Shut up and get out of the way.

Utter crap Trump hasn't done a damn thing to attack a free prezs. Obama did far more and Obama's admin was far less friendly to the press and far more opague. Trump has done absolute nothing to the press that hasn't been done by every president from George Washington on.

 

Exactly right! What Trump HAS done is call the press out like no other President before him. And he is right!

 

Do you really believe the numbers coming out of China. Our own intelligence people believe the number of deaths in China is many times what they have reported.
