The US government and all the land it purports to own, are founded on illegitimacy.

What did the government do to earn this land? It killed natives that lived on the land before it.

Mexicans actually have much more of a claim to this land than anyone in America.

This was Mexico before the Mexican-American War:[IMG]

The blue land is what America stole from Mexico.

The Unite States sent in troops to a peaceful area of the disputed territory where Mexicans lived and worked. They sent troops and waited. Finally, a few guerrilla fighters from the nearby village attacked the troops, seeing it as an open threat. This was exactly what the US president James Polk wanted, he then declared war on all of Mexico and the US proceeded to slaughter countless thousands of Mexican men, women, and children.

So truly, unless your family came over on the mayflower, you're the immigrant to this land, while Mexicans are the natives to America.

Nearly every country on this planet won it's borders by blood. It's how we've defined our borders. Just the way the world works. No sense crying over it.

Also I love that you complain that we stole land from Mexico when Mexico stole that land from the Spanish who stole that land from the natives who may have wiped out other civilizations in the area.

That doesn't invalidate my point in the slightest, they were a peaceful people and we stole their land.

It doesn't make sense to call them immigrants, when they're native to the land.

Their shouldn't be borders in the first place, you can't claim land as your own just because you have most guns and then turn around and say you aren't a tyrant.

Well, at the time, it was totally legal. Yes, under 21st century standards it's illegitimate. However this happened during the 15th through 19th centuries, during which it was the way of the earth.

So what? It still isn't their land. These borders are arbitrary, people should be able to go and find work in any geopraphical area they want.

When the Mexicans open up their southern border to all, we should open our southern border to all.

I actually agree that we should open up legal Mexican immigration. We should allow all able-bodied and sound-minded Mexicans to come to get work. However, if they ever ask for welfare or commit a crime, they should be immediately deported.

Besides island countries, all borders are arbitrary.

Let them work, pay taxes and soon they'll want the vote and this country won't be the USA anymore, it'll be Aztlan and have some leftist Hugo Chavez demagogue as "El Presidente"

If that's what the people vote for I have no problem with that. Government should always represent it's people.

Your lack of nationalist and cultural pride is rather disturbing. You can join the new bastard non-America and I will become a terrorist and try to kill such an America.

Nationalism and culture do not take precedence over freedom. If the people vote in the communist party that is their right as Americans. They are still expected to follow the same constitution.

    Nationalist pride?

Why should you be proud of the geographical area you live in? Have some pride in your own achievements.

By the way, I have no nationalist pride. I hate everything this country stands for, a fake kind of liberty.

"The fact is that the average man's love of liberty is nine-tenths imaginary, exactly like his love of sense, justice and truth. He is not actually happy when free; he is uncomfortable, a bit alarmed, and intolerably lonely. Liberty is not a thing for the great masses of men. It is the exclusive possession of a small and disreputable minority, like knowledge, courage and honor. It takes a special sort of man to understand and enjoy liberty — and he is usually an outlaw in democratic societies."-H.L. Mencken

Because if you have no pride in your country then you will allow it to be taken by foreign invaders and destructive ideals instead of defending it.

This country, while imperfect, has been a beacon for the world. People such as yourself are slowly destroying the very foundation this country was founded on.

So please, if you hate America so much then leave, and take the rest of the self-loathing America hater freaks with you when you go. Go find your utopia, whatever that may be. Peace

    God Bless America :flagus:

A beacon for the world? How brainwashed are you? The US has killed so many innocent people all around the world. Most countries hate us for being so imperialist. We make more terrorists everyday by drone attacking women and babies. God Bless America all right, and all its bombs too.

Texas seceded from Mexico. Mexico reneged on terms of the treaty and killed Americans on American soil after Texas was admitted to the Union. Mexico got it's ass kicked and sold off land that it had no legitimate claim on to begin with. how is paying for something stealing it?

John Dee (Du) convinced Queen Elizabeth the first that she had a right to America because there had been an earlier Empire under Arthur which owned it (that's why it's called the 'British' Empire - British = 'Welsh'). Then the people there rebelled against their own Country to avoid paying taxes for their defence against the French and the rightful owners of the land, who would have killed them but for the blood shed by British soldiers to defend them. Thereafter they invited in all sorts of traitors to other countries. They got their labour from slavery and their land from theft. As a claim it's crap.
