So, that's it then. It went away. The Fauch says so.

The US is 'out of the pandemic phase,' Fauci says
    https://www.cnn.com/2022/04/27/health/fauci-covid-pandemic-phase/index.html
The United States is out of the Covid-19 pandemic phase, said Dr. Anthony Fauci, President Joe Biden's chief medical adviser and the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

"We are certainly, right now, in this country, out of the pandemic phase," Fauci said on PBS's "NewsHour" on Tuesday.
"Namely, we don't have 900,000 new infections a day and tens and tens and tens of thousands of hospitalizations and thousands of deaths. We are at a low level right now. So if you're saying, are we out of the pandemic phase in this country? We are," he said

    Technically he's right.
But this doesn't mean that Covid -19 has gone away.
    Not at all!

And this doesn't mean that Covid-19 has become endemic ...
It's no more pandemic in US. Numbers say this. Nothing else.

What does this mean in reality?

That the circulation of the virus is slowing down and that the real impact of the disease on the population is diminishing in a drastic way.
There are some parameters to consider [don't think to R0 alone, because you should compare it with the hospitalization rate].

From the data I can obtain about US, I can say that Fauci is right. Now. Personally I'm already thinking to next autumn.

No, he didn't. It no longer infects a significant percent of the population.

Don't give the nut job right reasons to claim he's lying a week from now when he says the same thing again.

How else could the Biden administration justify dropping Title 42 without declaring the covid pandemic over? Faucet is just a political operative. Come this fall we will be back in a pandemic -- just in time for the midterm elections.

China is in the middle of the largest and most bizarre lock down anyone has ever seen in regards to Covid 19 while the rest of the world has no pandemic? Go figure. China is literally in a melt down. It can not control its 40% inflation rate because of is economic collapse as a result of Covid 19.

Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia, the Philippines, Indonesia and China they all have serious issues with Covid 19 as they refuse to address their wet markets and the r wildlife that they sell in various states of composition in the open with no sanitary practices.

Zoonotic viruses jumping from animals to humans start in these wet markets. It aint rocket science.

Humans create the filthy conditions and inhumane slaughters, now we get karma for it from mother nature.

China decided against vaccines, and the new strains blow right through their old lockdown regime (which was stricter than anything we did).

It's an elegant demonstration of the utility of our vaccines.

You mean like it was supposed to be a hoax which would disappear on Nov 8, 2020 and no one will ever hear about it again? Well, - that didn't happen.

So, Covid was a conspiracy designed to hurt Trump, and now its a conspiracy to.......hurt Democrats in the midterms? Wouldn't that make Fauci a Republican operative?

Listen to yourself and ask if your claims make sense (because they don't).

I always listen to myself and don't for a minute expect what I say would make sense to you. Especially when you don't realize the strawman response you're making up here. It's always convenient, for those that don't want to face reality, to say something is a conspiracy to dismiss points raised. Ordinarily I would feel obliged to further explain my points (with supportive evidence), but I've learned not to waste my time doing so with those such as yourself. You'll just look for more straw to play with.

    Running?

You can't explain your claim because it makes no sense whatsoever,

They're changing their tune hard now because they've had to admit that GDP contracted. The spin is that there's high demand but there's high demand because of shortages, not because the economy is growing.

Can you explain the connection between them saying the pandemic phase is over and the GDP given that the Covid restrictions were eliminated quite a while ago.

They're closing the door on bringing them back, whereas last week Fauci was still saying they might be brought back in. This is important because the restrictions come in and out in a piecemeal way depending on the city and state.

You mean mass transit? That doesn't have squat to do with GDP. None, whatsoever. Lockdowns, - yes, but whether or not people wear a mask in an airplane, - nada.

Who actually puts any stock into what Fauci says? The CDC are still in the federal appeals court trying to make you wear masks and be afraid still to this day. Of course, it entirely undercuts their narrative about dropping title 42, but who ever expects consistency from democrats?

Give it a shot. Explain how people wearing or not wearing a mask in an airplane affects the economy. I mean the economy grew like crazy in 2021 and everyone wore a mask in airplanes, so how to you explain that?

Or you can continue to make posts to say.......nothing.

If people wear masks, it's more money for the mask makers?

I know of several people who have not traveled by plane for business and pleasure because of the mask mandate.

Really? Weird. When we went to Cali last October, it was the first time I've flown in a plane where I didn't feel sick three days later. I will likely always wear my mask on flights, now. It especially helps "mask," the smell of people who bathe in perfume before getting on the plane.

Several people......ok. Every flight I have taken has been fully booked. So, how did the economy grown like crazy when people were asked to wear a mask in 2021, and how it is slowing down the economy now that they do NOT have to wear them?

Indeed. The mask makers are not happy with Fauci at this time

It does but you know what I mean and I'm not gonna waste my time.

Anyone have this experience when you were a kid, where some kid is like "I'll race you" and you're like "What?" And then the other kid just starts running. Then after he's way ahead of you he shouts back "You lose!" from a distance. This is basically what the left has done with their argument style, where they ban everyone, talk nonsense, then declare victory while 90% of the population is just standing there having not budged from their original spot.
