Haven't heard much since the few companies handed out some bonuses. A lot of hub bub about nothing. Where's the trickle down, where's all the revenue the tax cuts are supposed to create?

The problem is that we didn't cut taxes enough to increase revenues in order to offset the huge increase in defense budget.

    Silly Nonsense.

In the last month, the Federal Debt has risen by $230,722,245,282.86
In the equivalent month of the Obama Administration, the Federal Debt rose by $280,700,313,856.94 (in 2018 dollars).

    And you never said squat!

Weren't the tax cuts going to pay for themselves?

Well, they didn't when Reagan and GWB tried them, so why would you expect it to be different this time?

    ???

    From your source:

    02/01/2018 20,494,566,890,206.07
    03/01/2018 20,874,435,529,527.56

    That's a $380 billion increase, not $230.

In Obama's last year in office for the same time period:

    02/01/2016 18,975,719,827,131.21
    03/01/2016 19,090,880,799,021.63

    A $115 billion increase.

And you never said squawk. Love these "conservatives" debt chicken-hawks.

Remember when conservatives pretended they cared about deficits? Until Jan 20, 2017.

The Bush recession never happened. They like to ignore that because it's a giant ****ing thorn in their logic.

Well then I guess this debt rising is Obama's fault since he was in office 8 years prior to trumps one year right? However you want to play it.

I don't want to play anything, objectively look at where we were when Obama took office. BLEEDING jobs, massive debt, two hugely expensive wars in full swing one of which based entirely on lies (he should be painting in jail for that one) economy at second worst in American history.

    Those are FACTS.

Weird how the presidency jumped from Bush to Trump and just skipped right over Obama, like he wasn't even there. How does one waste two entire terms, and the non-repeatable opportunity of a lifetime?

Would you say that the GOP stole both of Obama's terms from him?

The last month was 2/27 to 3/27, Silly!
The equivalent year for Obama is 2010, Silly!
Trump doesn't have to spend all this money, just because Congress approved the budget.

But, he can direct the increase in Military spending to constructing the wall and use the Military to build it, given that Hezbollah is running drugs over our Southern Border and using the money to support international terrorism.

The Federal Debt went up $548,913,405,771.86 in Trump's first full year.
Obama's first full year, it went up $1,900,787,163,800.15 in 2018 dollars.

I don't see how Trump is ever going to catch up with Obama's debt explosion, and he is certainly showing no indication that he is going to double the debt like Bush and Obama did.

Obama's second year, he spent $1,731,404,558.095.49 in 2018 dollars, I doubt Trump will even spend a fraction of that. He will likely return much of this budgeted money to the Treasury, unspent, drawing a very sharp contrast between the Orange Tornado for Good and the Guy in the plastic helmet, with the mom jeans, who throws a girl.

So, we will check back in as the year progresses, I predict Trump will whip Obama like a rented mule.

    Well done.
It looks like Donald Trump will have to buckle down and spend much much more money if he wants to catch Obama in that race.

Uh, this is March. Last month was February.

The old conservative ploy. Blaaaaame Obaaaaama for the Great Recession he inherited from the last Republican administration.

donald inherited a solid economy after the deficit fell by 2/3 under Obama. Obama inherited $1+ trillion deficits and the worst recession since the great depression. It shouldn't even be an issue of donald catching up, with a good economy the deficit should be going down.

And yet, it looks like donald is doing his damnedest to try to run up even more debt.

Remember when conservatives pretended to care about the debt?

Not sure what you are talking about. Last year the federal government spent $3.982 trillion, more than the government ever spent in one year under Obama.

If you're test of "whipping" is spending and running up the deficit, I don't doubt your prediction.

Obama ran up the Federal Debt about 4 times what Trump did in his first year. I doubt Trump even runs it up half of what Obama did in his second year and that is even with rising interest rates.

One thing folks forget is that while Trump had to sign the budget so he could get the Military spending, (so he could redirect that to the Wall before we bill Mexico for reimbursement) Trump is not compelled to spend all the budgeted money!

So, I expect Trump's two year total to be well below that guy we just kinda of skipped over like he wasn't ever really President.

But he won't! Trump's knows the standard unknown in among politicians; "Ahead of Schedule, Under Budget!"

I can't believe that Republicans swiped both of Obama's terms! Has anyone in the history of the country had two full terms swiped from them, like they were never even President?

Amazing! Bush -> Trump! Skipped right over Barack like he wasn't even there!

Were you born yesterday? Or do you just get your information exclusively from Fox News?

Obama inherited the worst recession in 80 years and trillion plus dollar deficits, which came down by 2/3 during his tenure.

donald inherited a solid economy with much lower deficits, and he's running up the deficits and debt he inherited with tax cuts and spending.

So of course the debt increased a lot in Obama's first couple years.

You act like this is some kind of achievement by donald.

GOP logic don't you know. Debt is great as long as they don't rack up as much debt as the....last guy....whoever it might be. Fiscal conservatives, my @$$.
