    Frank Darabont started out in
"The Walking Dead" and all I can say is if he left the show, it can't be as good as it was with him.

I quit watching 2 seasons ago. Or maybe 3.
I just can't get through the 80% "filler" to watch the 20% genuine story line.

He became one of my favorite characters in the show despite him being an insane savage.

They basically ruined the Walking Dead by pulling Negan out of it. And Fear The Walking Dead was such a failure. Started great, but they removed all the great characters and re-circulated some unknowns. Vomit.

Interesting take on FTWD. I have the opposite impression. It started out poorly, got worse as the characters became more unlikable, and now seems to be salvaging itself after killing off almost all of their original cast.

I think the show has improved since the midseason finale.

I watch that and 'Fear the Walking Dead', a west coast spinoff. The original is better, but both are enjoyable.

Improved like how? A kid girl that kills your brother and you become friends with the kid? Feminism at its best. "Forgive the killer of your only family, because the killer is a GIRL."

Fusk that, I'm out of this show.

I don't think TWD will survive losing Maggie and Rick this season.

She's not friends with her. She can barely stand to look at her, but she's moved on from wanting to kill her. In fact, the episode with Alicia and Charlie trapped in the house during the hurricane was probably the best of the season. Of course, any episode since Madison died seems better by comparison.

Indeed. I was with the show from the pilot. When they killed Carl that was it for me.

It was more than the character, it was what Carl represented. In the comics he is the future from what I hear....so when they killed him they killed the show.

Look at what they've done with Fear TWD. Basically all over the place with it killing off the original characters. It's extremely obvious they're just trying to re-do the formula to get more viewers.

I'd say not many share your opinion. In fact, nobody shares your opinion. The house episode was wildly incompetent. Alicia was always portrayed greatly heinous than the feeble broddy. She didn't get shet from anyone, went on a killing spree to get revenges, and all of a sudden, she's forgiving a random sleazy kid. Tell me where you find logic in that. That's not normal human behavior or much less Alicia's deportment.

    Correct, sir.

Also they didn't quite stick to the plot. Rick loses a hand, and same does NOT use a glass tittle to cut Negan's pharynx. Uses a bowie knife instead. What a boffola.

It is of course possible that no one shares my opinion. But overall I feel that FTWD has been a disaster from season one, with an unlikable cast and unrealistic situations. You pointing out Alicia's divergent personalities in the past make my point. Madison went from Negan like to Rick like at the beginning of season four. The story arc for the last half of season 4 is very much an improvement.

The last episode was pretty good. At this point, I wonder...

If Negan can be rehabilitated and released or if it's better to keep him inside so he doesn't inspire any sort of rebellion despite him being a changed person.

What is an 'A' or 'B'. I'm speculating personality types so far.

 Glad Rick survived. Kept thinking they were going to give him the worst way out.

If the helicopter is from a facility that may know how the zombie apocalypse started.

I agree it was a fairly decent episode and a pretty good send off for Rick, but Maggie is getting short shrift since it was her last episode too.

The Walking Dead…. a show that had the potential to be one of the greatest shows ever, but has since completely nose-dived. The last 3-4 seasons are unwatchable. I can enjoy TWD up till about season 6 or maybe 7. After that, it’s absolute garbage.

This is new. The series finale of The Walking Dead: World Beyond had a very interesting post credit scene that had nothing to do with World Beyond but was a call back to the Walking Dead season 1

Apparently they dropped a lot of information on the zombie virus, and it seems to confirm it was man made, which is big since the show has mostly avoided the speculation about what caused this.

I like it but the having white guy be the main character is a sin for zombie media.

White men are the “oppressor” and it is hard to feel for them especially in horror situations where you assume they will white male their way out of it.

Then you should watch Fear the Walking Dead. After the first season or two all the white folks get killed off. Well, except for the lesbian, and a lot of the 'bad guys' are white...

But if you can get past the 'equal opportunity' scripting, its still enjoyable. But also still kinda more of the same...
