Here on the "Front Range" of Colorado (the Denver-Colorado Springs-Pueblo corridor), it will be hot, mostly dry, with very, very TYPICAL weather for mid-July. No big earth-shaking "climate change" stuff going on here....

Oh, and my constant reminder -- the dreaded Carbon Dioxide makes up only 0.04% of the Earth's atmosphere! 8)

afaik the Greenunists don't agree with that, and consider CO2, a byproduct of mammalian respiration ever since the first mammal, and coming from deep down in the lungs of joggers and athletes, as absolutely toxic.

    Howdy neighbor!

Same thing up here in Virginia, too. We've had almost a month with the highs in the low to mid-90s and this Saturday we're supposed to hit 100 degrees, which should put the heat index well over 110. The only thing good about this is that our summer veggies and ornamentals that thrive in the heat have been eating it up. Pretty soon we're going to be eating up home grown tomatoes and okra, and we'd be eating green beans if Bugs Bunny hadn't gotten loose in our garden. Why I oughtta...

Oh well, gotta re-plant and put up fencing.

I don't know about you Tar Heels but we're supposed to see a break in the heat on Tuesday - a high of 88 never looked so good.

We are dealing with oppressive heat and humidity as well as the leftovers of that tropical storm that came from the middle of the country....again. Our weather in this country is acting weird.

    You and me both.

Speaking of which, we just planted our pumpkins a week and a half ago. Should be ready to harvest right around Halloween.

Last year was the first time we planted culinary pumpkins (Blue Dolls). I never realized how many great dishes you can make with them besides pie. This one is unbelievably good:

You're 100% right, George! And any REAL scientist will be truthful in telling everyone that organic life cannot (CANNOT) live on this planet without Carbon Dioxide.... :oldman:

But, the Liberal Arts 'experts' doubt that! And they imagine themselves to be 'the Font of all Wisdom'.... :spin:

As of today the heat is on folks - we've got heat warnings up and down the East Coast for the entire weekend.

Keep the Coronas on ice and let the brownouts begin!

They are putting in some humongous power line poles through where we live. I have no idea where the power is coming from or where it's going.

Hot near 100. I just heard on the radio that a "cold front" is planning to reach us by Monday. That will be a nice change.

Must be nice. It's 97 degrees here in the Piedmont of Virginia.

I might have to sit inside and drink beer all weekend...

It's 99-degrees F. in zip code 80112, in the Denver Metro Area. And, that's at an altitude of more than a mile above sea level. You always feel the heat more acutely at higher altitudes.

There's a Colorado town up in the central Rockies named Leadville, and it's 10,200 ft. above sea level. When the temperature hits just 70-degrees there, it feels like 100 back down in Denver.
