IMO there is a far descriptive name for Syrian refugees, and that is ------- Syrian cowards!!!!!! They are cowards since they wont stay home and fight for their country!!!

Unlike the bald faced lie that Obama tried to pull off, the "refugees" are NOT all women and children. In fact in almost all the pictures you see, the streams of these refugees are mostly young men. It actually looks like about 90% of them are young men. They have left their country in the lurch, and I am willing to bet, are creating tens of thousands of orphans. What kind of men are they, to my way of thinking cowards. They are little better than the ISIS cowards that plant bombs and IEDs that kill women and children!!!!!

this is the first time I have ever seen refugees from war called "cowards".

were the Jews who fled Nazi Germany also "cowards"?

The Jewish people that got out of Germany was a small part of the population. All of those cowardly young men are Syrians. That is the difference.

Actually there were many Jews who were in the resistance throughout Europe during WWII. Jews in Germany who left before things got bad were the lucky ones the rest were completely surrounded and didn't stand a chance of escape. Even so many young Jews chose to die fighting. Syrian men of military age should be denied refuge anywhere if they aren't willing to fight for their homeland they are of little value to any one.

That's what happens when you're not armed. Americans were armed when England got a little too snarky, so the they were properly kicked out.

I agree with your premise but every 8 year old boy in the ME has an AK. (Admitted exaggeration)
All I know is if ISIS was murdering people in my neighborhood I wouldn't flee. I also wouldn't have let it go on this long either. Hopefully there's enough Americans left that feel the same so wether or not I lived to see the final outcome would be moot.
I would leave my home for tactical advantage. I would fight to return.

Why are you not fighting for your country?

    - - - Updated - - -

Yes there's an incredible lack of weapons in the Middle East. I don't know how they possibly get by with so few AK47s.

Actually the difference is in your own mind.

The right needs to find Something to attack these refuges on...and this idiocy is what they have settled on

There are a good many Syrian's fighting either for the current Government or for those wanting to overthrow the current one and for a variety of reason on both sides, it's basically a civil war. What's objectionable to American's is those millions of refugees, may not be Syrian at all and are trying to enter some Western Countries, to further the rebellions goals of some terrorist organization.

Safe zones could be set up, which was done during WWII for the Jew's, where the young and willing could organize or stand down until the problems are solved. As for refugee's enter the US, it's simply not going to happen, until things are resolved or a long term vetting process is complete.

Yeah, they should stay and fight to be oppressed by a dictator who after ISIS is defeated wouldn't blink twice at murdering them if they acted against him.

They're definitely not all women and children, however, over 75% of the registered Syrian refugees are indeed women and children.

What a disgusting opening post. I think the Syrians who fled did the right thing by their families and themselves: both the Syrian government and the Syrian opposition have been guilty of pushing their country further down the vortex of chaos and destruction. They did not want to partake in any of it.

No no no, we were organized first. You can't compare the crisis in Syria to the revolutionary war so easily as the two occurred 200 years apart. Frankly we don't even know if the crisis in syria is either a revolution or a rebellion yet so that's another reason not to compare the two.

Actually after WWII, but the same principles were used during and most certainly could be used today for the Syrian's or whoever are pretending to be, for a reason. My guess is terrorist, would not join in....

Obama and the democrats keep telling us about all the poor women and orphans. Yet when you see the hordes on TV, they seem to be 90% young men. There has been far more "refugee" than there are in ISIS. Why dont they stand and and fight!!!!

Care to post some actual numbers instead of trying to guestimate based on a handful of photos from the news sources that you prefer?

If you check the actual numbers, only about 20% of the refugees are adult males . . . not 90%.

The ones who leave get called cowards. The ones who stay get called terrorists. I’m not sure how they could make you happy.
