    First and foremost it should be established that I am indeed the prettiest girl in town. Any other girl claiming my title is a false prophet and will be dealt with accordingly.

    Anyways, I'm SuperSymmetry. I chose the name because I used to study physics.

    Politically I would broadly categorize myself as a leftist. My thought is primarily influenced by poststructuralism and feminism. I have a love-hate relationship with critical theory. I have a mostly hate relationship with Zizek but I'm mostly just in it for the memes at this point. Honestly I've been more interested in philosophy of science lately than politics.

    Ask me anything. I won't bite unless you're into that.

    Just as well, I say, they all suck donkey balls for breakfast and it gets worse as the day progresses. Membership fees are steep on the spirit, psyche, jaws, and rear end.

    I haven't! Which ones would you recommend?

    His views on ideology are pretty interesting as far as his contribution to Marxism goes. Everything else about him I feel very lukewarm about. I'm currently trying to understand Lacan and seeing if that'll change my mind about him.

    (Der) Steppenwolf and Narziß und Goldmund (Narcissus and Goldmund) for sure. Demian is on the shorter side and enjoyable also. I actually haven't read much beyond those. I've started on Das Glasperlenspiel (The Glass Bead Game) a couple of times, but not gotten close to the end. It's pretty long and weird. Plus, reading it in German can be kind of hard :D

    How about Dostoevsky? I've read a few of his as well.
