Why not decimate them using abortion? They have no more value than a human fetus. The land they inhabit would be much more useful without them.

Why make them sterile? Round up the extras, put them in pens, feed them, then eat them. Seems more sensible.

Baited animals are just baited, they aren't protected and sheltered too. You can protect your crops from deer with electric fences or even planting a few marigolds, which repel them.

No, not really, Mighty Hunter mythology notwithstanding the large predators live surprisingly well with humans if they are left alone and always have. Humans generally have to do something really stupid, like using lions and tigers as a way to dispose of the literal thousands of corpses produced by railway construction in Africa and India, before the legendary "man-eaters" become a problem, and even then they are exceptional instances. "Seven times never kill man" is one of the Laws of the Jungle that may have really existed.

You can't pen deer, as they treat even a 6 foot tall fence like it's not there and they don't take well to domesticity, being surprisingly well able to hurt humans who try to wrangle them. It has been tried, and the Lapps are well known to have domesticated reindeer, but cost/benefit just isn't there where cattle can survive.

You can’t pen deer but you can keep them out of your crops with marigolds. :) You going to come plant 10 miles of marigold beds to keep them from eating my crops? Have you any experience with animals or just Disney and PETA?

All predators are hell on humans that depend on agriculture for their livelihood as most Africans do. Killing people is the least of the worries. Doesn’t matter if the lion leaves you but eats the three goats that keep you alive. Doesn’t matter if the elephant doesn’t stomp you if it destroys the crop that will keep you from starvation.

This is the problem with conservation and animal rights. The people who want to control things are blatantly ignorant of reality.

In your previous posts you demonstrated you don’t know comparative lifespans of food animals vs hunted game either. Better leave these debates to people with actual experience in the issue.

Check out this map and then try telling me how lions are eating goats

    https://www.treehugger.com/endanger...ive-red-and-where-they-remain-today-blue.html

Those lions left are a precious resource for the tourists that come to see them, The elephants too are worth a thousand times whatever crops they destroy.

No doubt they will save some, but I can't help but think that properly managed tourism could save more. One thing I do wonder about is if some of the thousands of Great Cats we keep in North America might be integrated into the wilder wildernesses we have here. We have wild grizzlies and many other large predators there, why not lions and tigers?

The last one is usually done in a vat of Jello. I was actually a guide to them in my younger years.

These people are disgusting excuses for human beings. Shame!! Trump's sons, also known as Beevis and Buthead, must be drooling,
and maybe even masturbating to this picture.

You need beef? Why, absolute proof? What more do you want other than this picture? Disgusting, yes? How can you applaud something like this?

    Nonsense!

Elephants live to 70 years old. A 5 year old is still very much a child in elephant terms. It had probably not yet even been fully weaned which occurs between 5 and 10 years of age. They only reach adulthood around 18 years of age.

To call this elephant an adult is downright disingenuous.

    Agreed!

Hopefully their business will be boycotted to the point where it collapses and has to file for bankruptcy.

The above statement merely demonstrates the absence of a legitimate position. The two standards are not even comparable to one another. For it to be comparable, various foreign nations where homosexuality is illegal would need to be allowing foreigners to kill homosexuals for sport. Yet such an event is not occurring anywhere in the known world.

The point in the above statement has obviously been missed on the part of yourself.

Complaining about those who engaged in the hunt makes no difference, because the hunt was legal and sanctioned in accordance with the law put in place by the government of the nation of Africa. If the act of hunting such animals is so objectionable, those who protest should address said government, rather than complaining about the individuals who are simply complying with the law in the first place.

Law or no law, how can these people get a cheap thrill from murdering a defenseless animal? They obviously have a personality disorder.

Which will in turn lead to the widespread unemployment of every individual currently employed at said business.

Exactly how many lives do you wish to be ruined for the simple sake of revenge for a single animal?
