Things you like that (you think) are probably weird.

I like a dab of colman's on pork loin. When I cook with mustard, which I do somewhat often, I use powdered mustard. The vinegar base in prepared mustards sometimes throws things a bit off. There is an "Amish" store in a little town down the road that is a good place to find basic cooking ingredients like dried herbs and spices, and a plethora of flours beyond which most groceries carry. It is also where I get my curry powder. Supermarket curry anything errs on the side of hot hot hottedly hot whereas this place's powder leaves the heat out so you can add it separately as you desire for taste. My foolproof way to cook cauliflower is to add powdered curry and mustard (which I know is already in the curry powder) to tempura batter, dredge the cut up veg in, and then fry in vegetable oil until it starts to develop some color and then finish in the oven for about 15-20 minutes to help release some of the extra oil.

Italians would shoot you if they knew you put mustard on your pizza. Neapolitans would be quite upset at this pizza cum hot dog too.

@AlpinLuke do you know a good hitman? Have gun will travel?

I grew up in a rather diverse home.

Pickled pigs feet, Lox and capers and bagels, curry chicken, polo con tojadas, classic Italian, likely all in one week.

I've migrated to comparatively 'bland' food now, good old basic American, but very well prepared.

Il Trittico is one of my favs, for professional reasons, especially Gianni Schicchi. Il Tabarro is also not shabby at all....

Agreed. Il Trittico is great. Suor Angelica is usually the least liked one but it is actually quite good, too, and there is an arc if you think of how the three of them progress.
