Donald Trump thought he could engineer a coup by radicalizing humans using the same methods he learned from intelligence on how ISIS and Al Qaeda operate, and so after repeating the same messages of hate over and over and over for months, on 1/6 he whip them up to a frenzy fevered pitch for over two hours ( "it's gonna be wild, gotta fight like hell" --Trump "All hell is going to break loose" -- Bannon "Trial by Combat" ---Giuliani ) lighting the fuse which set off into motion a juggernaut of rage on the Capitol, with the planned objective of delaying the congressional certification passed the deadline whereupon the vote would be done by the house, where republicans have two state advantage.

Fortunately for AMerica, he is incompetent and his little plan failed.

This man tells it like it is and so much more.

He posits the elephant-in-the-room question, "Why isn't this man in jail?"

Did you watch the OP video. Your question is answered. Trumps objective was to delay confirmation of the EC votes long enough to force a vote in the house where he would have prevailed. He only failed because there were enough Senators and Representatives patriotic enough to take their job seriously and certify the EC votes before time ran out.

Coup is too loaded a term for some people to accept since it conjures up an image of tanks and soldiers in the streets of the Capital. Trump understood he didn't have the ability to pull that off so he tried to maintain power by corrupting the system.
