Yes, Trump is. We are in total agreement. We can't trust anything he says.

Now we have this phony build-up to war with Iran. Trump also doesn't know what he is doing. A war with Iran would be a disaster. But, then, he has no concept of war. He has no military experience.

Thinking about liars ... Trump has told so many lies, he has difficulty getting people to believe him now that it counts.

Both of them poll (or polled) under 50%, so you're probably right.

No one is in agreement and only a few make such claims

You have no evidence to support the claim and it is just an ignorant belief.

The Times reports, "Iran has unloaded missiles from at least two small boats in its territorial waters in what two American officials said on Friday was a sign of easing tensions in the brewing confrontation between Washington and Tehran.

"In recent days, American officials [read Trump White House] have described satellite photographs showing fully assembled missiles being loaded onto multiple boats in multiple Iranian ports. The pictures were cited as evidence for concern that the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps was targeting United States naval ships in the Persian Gulf and nearby waters.

"But over the past two days, Iranian forces removed the missiles from two of the boats, according to a Defense Department official and a congressional official. The boats, called dhows, had sailed between the Iranian ports of Jask and Chabahar in the Gulf of Oman, the officials said."

The two slow moving boats reached their destination and the boats were unloaded.

The Times added, "But the unloading of the missiles on the two small boats, coupled with the unhindered passage through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz on Thursday of two Navy destroyers, the U.S.S. McFaul and the U.S.S. Gonzalez, prompted some officials [read Trump sycophants] to claim that a recent show of United States firepower may have deterred the threat of Iranian attacks on American forces."

On top of the report quoted above, this is just too funny. Somebody took Trump aside and said, "Hey a$$hole, this isn't a freaking game. Back off."

Trump can't back down fast enough. What an idiot. Trump, who has no military experience, wants us to believe the mighty U.S. navy was concerned about two slow moving boats ferrying missiles from one Iranian port to another.

    No, wait.
Wasn’t it folks like you that stated Trump was gonna push the big red button a year and a half ago with North Korea? What happened?
He was gonna cause world war three...what happened? He was gonna crash the economy...what happened?
You leftists and your completely ignorant fear monger If is outright hilarious. Normal folks just sit back and laugh while you pat yourself on the back for your well thought out and intelligent (lol) response

LOL...how many wars has trump started?
How many times have leftists said “trumps gonna start world war 3” or “Trumps gonna push the red button” or “Russian collusion”
It appears to me that those on the left are the pathological liars that seem to think they have some God given gift of prophecy. And, like everything else, they are proven wrong.

You say "The American people are being told nothing." While my take is that, in spite of all of the poop fake news spread, the American People are finding the truth in other outlets and figuring out the truth on their own.

I was going to ignore your post since it's the same old dredged up BS - but you said "What makes this even more strange is that Iran has not attacked anyone and not started a war in two centuries."

What a crock of left wing bs!
You ignore the FACT that the Iranians have been extreme aggressors throughout the middle east since 1979 - their history is one of war and death against perceived foes both foreign and domestic.

The Iranian theocracy is 40 years old and has been involved in dozens of conflicts and direct attacks:
I'll ignore the 8 year war between Iran and Iraq since both sides insisted that the other side started the conflict.
I'll also ignore all of the attacks the Mullahs have instigated against their own Iranian people.
What about all of the attacks the IRG has performed against Iraqi targets since Obama gave-up Iraq and paid Iran 150 Billion $ to keep the Mullahs happy
What about all of the attacks the IRG performed against the rebels?
What about the IRG fighting with the Southis?
Are you forgetting the Iran founded Hezbollah? That Hezbollah has been directly involved in conflicts all over the middle east and even in Bosnia.I
The Mullahs have ambitions to build nuclear weapons and the delivery systems to send their A-bombs to Israel and the Untied States - Iranian Muslim fanatics would do such a thing in the name of God.

You quote the fake news NYTimes "Israel has been providing Washington with intelligence about potential Iranian attacks. Its prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has made Iran’s strategic ambitions an obsession. And as recently as February he floated the idea of war with Iran."

I wonder how many times the Mullahs have threatened war with Israel; how many times they've threatened to nuke Israel? How many misslie attacks against Israel were using Iranian missiles fired by Iranians or Iranian trained Hezbollah or Palestinians?

The insanity is in your post. Do you really believe the crap the NYTimes prints, quoting "anonymous" sources and "key administration officials" and then proven to be wrong time after time?

In my opinion, some posters hate the President and actively look for any story that might support their thesis - no matter how unreliable that source is known to be. I look at this compilation of fake news crap and wonder.

Ah, now THERE'S a dissertation-level statement if I ever heard one. And, in typical hyperliberal, radical-Democrat form, there's no proof, no links, no evidence -- nothing cited at all -- merely a subjective opinion. That's the way they actually think about EVERYTHING. And the frightening thing is that they are allowed to VOTE.... :spin:

Yeah, that is my point exactly.

I didn't think Trump would actually start a war. He doesn't have the balls. My concern was, with all the sabre rattling caused by the White House, some local commander or a fighter jock might do something stupid. This would never occur to the militarily challenged Trump.

But it's over now. Trump is backtracking as fast as he can.

Hysterics? What am I getting wrong? You didn't say. A comment like that is meaningless without an explanation. Explain how I went off the deep end. Please.

    You can't, right?

There's an old saying, "It ain't over 'til it's over!" You people can't figure out that President Trump will change tactics as situations require while staying focused on the end game.

Iran will fold or will be sent back to the iron age

Same thing goes for China - a ten year 3 trillion dollar imbalance with China shows that something is wrong. That certain Democrats would side with China is treasonous - but that's todays Democrat Party - corrupt to the core.

It's pretty objective. I mean, somebody who builds a policy around hurting people can't be sane. Trump enacted a policy to separate children from their family with no plan whatsoever to re-unite them.

You can't be mentally sane if your plan is to harm children in order to punish the parents.

Sorry you didn't get it. But it's like explaining a joke. If I rephrase it, it loses the "impact"

A quick explanation for you: it says pretty much the opposite of what you interpreted.

What evidence do you have that I’m a ‘leftist’? As to ‘normal folks’ you could benefit from learning the pointlessness of ad hominem argument.

    Hello Lesh,

I am a hawk on defending our country.

I want our troops out of Syria and Iraq and Afghanistan.

Actually, I can agree with you partially about this horrid "dividing-the-parents-from-the-children" thing. Why...?

The INTELLIGENT thing for Trump to have done two months ago was to SEAL THE BORDER SHUT to all 'migrants' -- period! That way, Mamacita, Papacito, and their whole damned brood, real, 'borrowed', 'rented', kidnapped, or imagined would not (NOT) have entered the United States in the first place, to become separated by mean old horrible Trump!

Think: they trooped north all the way across Mexico from the shitholes of Central America, and nobody "divided" them! Why should we here in our country ever have divided them? It's all so simple -- we seal that border shut and nobody gets 'separated' from anybody! And the road going back south is every bit as wide as the one they came north on to barge uninvited into OUR country....

All very simple but can we not forget the long history of both Democrat & Republican US governments interfering uninvited in Sth American politics with the resultant destabalisation of the region? Not to worry, Putin will soon fill the gap and before he tells his boyfriend in the Whitehouse.
