Be careful while you so cavalierly tear down every principle by which this country has managed itself so successfully throughout its history... the house you tear down so callously and recklessly MAY BE YOUR OWN.

 

So the alt-right media is doing its job well. Because that's their purpose. To convince you, "against your will", that you want a fascist regime in this country. Just like they did back then. The propaganda machine is the same. You had otherwise intelligent people falling for the propaganda. It didn't end well then. It won't end well this time. And after it's done, you had those same people asking themselves "How did we fall for it?" My advice: don't be one of them. Learn from history!

Immigrants are hard-working people. You will find bad people. But statistics show you will find more bad people who are not immigrants. Criminality rates among immigrants is far below that of the general population. But you won't find those facts if you only listen to alt-right media.

 

Many have long accepted the idea of Putin extorting Trump. How else do you explain Helsinki where Trump rejected American intelligence in favor of Putin because he sounded sincere? At Helsinki, no one knows, not even Trump's closest advisors, what Trump and Putin talked about during those two hours when they were alone with their interpreters. How else do you explain bringing us right up to the edge of a war with Iran which would be cataclysmic for the U.S.? Why else start a trade war with China that is seriously threatening the American economy? Why else challenge an equal part of our government creating chaos at the highest levels?

One possible answer, Trump is acting like Putin's puppet. He is doing everything Putin wants him to do.

 

I have noticed that Trump's fans are avoiding the issues as they relate to Iran. They know Trump really screwed up this time and was forced to backtrack. It's embarrassing for a Trump supporter.

Whatever you do, don't deal with the real issues of this thread, issues that pertain to Iran, how close we came to war, and Trump's moronic decision to cancel out an agreement that was working because it was signed during the Obama administration.

It is much easier for a Trump fan to talk about theoretical history and avoid Trump and real issues.

The IAEA inspectors are charged with ensuring that no potential nuclear fuel — highly enriched uranium and plutonium are the two commonly used sources — is being diverted to a covert nuclear weapons program. Under something called the Additional Protocol, which Iran accepted as part of the JCPOA, inspectors can request access to undeclared sites, including military sites. But the agreement spells out a series of steps to gain that access that could take as long as 24 days to complete.


Critics contend that is far too long to wait.

Ali Vaez, senior Iran analyst at the International Crisis Group, says the remarkable access the West now has to Iran's nuclear program via the deal and the IAEA inspections should not be thrown away lightly.

"The IAEA has never had better access to Iran's military sites," says Vaez. "If the Trump administration loses this unprecedented access ... it will soon wish for it."


Vaez adds that derailing the JCPOA now could also have unintended consequences.


"If the Trump administration kills the deal with Iran, [a deal] that is working and [that] the rest of the international community is highly satisfied with," he says, "it should forget about peacefully settling the nuclear standoff with North Korea."

Trump wouldn't be called a dictator if the war was justified. However, if you have been following along, it is Trump who has been making all the threats.

 

This is what this thread is all about, Trump and Iran. You are afraid to deal with those issues. Your intention to distract is way too obvious. I'll give you another chance.

The Times reports, "Iran has unloaded missiles from at least two small boats in its territorial waters in what two American officials said on Friday was a sign of easing tensions in the brewing confrontation between Washington and Tehran.

"In recent days, American officials [read Trump White House] have described satellite photographs showing fully assembled missiles being loaded onto multiple boats in multiple Iranian ports. The pictures were cited as evidence for concern that the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps was targeting United States naval ships in the Persian Gulf and nearby waters.

"But over the past two days, Iranian forces removed the missiles from two of the boats, according to a Defense Department official and a congressional official. The boats, called dhows, had sailed between the Iranian ports of Jask and Chabahar in the Gulf of Oman, the officials said."

The two slow moving boats reached their destination and the boats were unloaded.

The Times added, "But the unloading of the missiles on the two small boats, coupled with the unhindered passage through the strategically important Strait of Hormuz on Thursday of two Navy destroyers, the U.S.S. McFaul and the U.S.S. Gonzalez, prompted some officials [read Trump sycophants] to claim that a recent show of United States firepower may have deterred the threat of Iranian attacks on American forces."

On top of the report quoted above, this is just too funny. Somebody took Trump aside and said, "Hey a$$hole, this isn't a freaking game. Back off."

Trump can't back down fast enough. What an idiot. Trump, who has no military experience, wants us to believe the mighty U.S. navy was concerned about two slow moving boats ferrying missiles from one Iranian port to another.

Yahoo News reports, "An ally of Trump is accusing Tehran of provocations that could draw a military response, ahead of a classified briefing on the tensions."

Oh, good, I got to hear this.

"Senator Lindsey Graham, a Republican who has closely aligned himself with Trump, said he received his own briefing Monday from National Security Advisor John Bolton, a longtime hawk who called for an attack on Iran before taking his White House job."

Wow, great source, impartial, wise beyond his years.

"It is clear that over the last several weeks Iran has attacked pipelines and ships of other nations and created threat streams against American interests in Iraq," Graham said.

Really, Iran, are you sure, Senator, or just telling us a little white lie?

"If the Iranian threats against American personnel and interests are activated we must deliver an overwhelming military response."

"IF?" We go to war based on an "if?" Is that true, Senator?

Graham wants us to believe the Persian mullahs in charge of Iran are suicidal and they want to attack the most powerful military on the planet. Actually, that is Trump's reasoning. Graham just tagging along and making a complete fool of himself. That is a requirement if you are a Trump supporter.

Representative Ruben Gallego of Arizona, quickly challenged Graham and said he had seen the same intelligence.

"That is not what is being said. This is total information bias to draw the conclusion he wants for himself and the media," Gallego said.

Senator Chris Murphy, accused the Republicans of twisting the intelligence "to make it sound like Iran is taking unprovoked, offensive measures against the US and our allies."

That fits with my research as well. That the Iranian government is threatening the U.S. is pure nonsense.

I invite anyone to prove me wrong, not with rhetoric, with sources. The operating word is "prove."

 

I think integrity is the never give up attitude. So yes. Honest? Well that a personal thing.

 

Democrat news outlets are only focused on hating Trump, not informing the American people.
