This is lovely. A Caucasian kid at an NBA game, had to just touch R.Westbrook

Yes, and that is exactly why you were just "mentioned" in a debate thread which verified what your deceit is all about regarding me :) those links in that debate thread do not, lie, whereas you are very good at telling lies.

Unfortunately you chose to be very, foolish, by joining this discussion Ad Hominem style. So you are, ineligible, to receive answers to what your nonsensical statements search for.

When instead, you could have respectfully inquisitioned me about what is meant within the OP, if you went to the video and could not figure out what sublime element I referred to.

The subliminal element is the t-shirt which the White kid's dad is wearing. He's wearing a Black History Month t-shirt.

That's what I asked when I said "what am I supposed to be watching?"

So what about it? What are we supposed to take away from your finding?

What did I take out of context.

A rose by any other name is still a rose. Sure, you did not said "stupid," but "embarrassing your own intelligence" isn't exactly comparing someone to Einstein either.
    Citation still needed.

I was being flippant in response to a silly thread in a silly section. Maybe you could consider what led me to that angle in the first place though.

That’s not really subliminal and doesn’t really explain anything. There’s still no reason to assume any racial aspect to the actual incident and zero justification for identifying the fan by his skin colour.

And I think the mods would agree, that it's antagonizing and it's Ad Hominem. But hey, if that's where your intelligence maxed out, then too bad for you.

Oh, you made it clear. Your fatuity lead you here.

Oh, is that why you failed to mention it? Because you noticed it??? You know, since it is indeed a racial aspect of the vid ---here in a Race Relations forum?

    8)

If your intelligence disallowed you an, explanation, then I am glad that I'm not you.

I think that a conservative-looking affluent White man out in public, with a Black History Month shirt on, is a solid reason to verify a racial element. Including how it likely soothed Westbrook's response, considering how deeply-angry he was in commenting on the incident @ the post-game interviews.

Throw in, the dad's likely 'social influence' over his kid and now there's plenty justification for identifying the fan by his skin colour.

I don't see anything but a black basketball player spend a brief moment with a young, white kid who is apparently a fan.
    Am I missing something?
I see it as a positive incident.

No, it's not. Actually, Westbrook is respectfully chiding the dad about not keeping his kid in line/letting his kid touch the players. He smiled at the kid, then politely-chewed the dad up, about the kid.

I bet that Black History Month shirt, calmed Westbrook, and prevented his intitially planned response.

Evidence? I think that would've been his response regardless of the shirt. The last thing he wants is to be blasted all over the news as "basketball player blows up in father and son's faces."

    Thanks.

Since I don't follow basketball, don't know who Westbrook is & didn't hear the verbal exchange, I couldn't comment more extensively.
Mistakes will happen but as long as they are resolved peacefully & respectfully, I don't see where any harm has been done.
As one of those wicked & evil, old white men, I'd feel just as silly wearing a "Black History Month" T-shirt as I would a MAGA hat.

I still feel like I'm missing something.
Is Westbrook known for racist opinions, hot temper etc. What do you suppose was his "initially planned response"?

This is a contentious issue with him, the NBA's security strategy refuses to protect players from fans touching them. And he's visually-angered, very easily, at almost anything really. Which is what made this interesting. What you see in the vid is sort of, calm, compared to his usual responses.

You seem to be making a whole load of assumptions not in evidence, especially not in the content of your OP alone. Race might have played a role in the interaction but nothing presented justifies assuming that it the case or trying to make it the primary factor involved. It could be the individuals involved don’t focus on skin colour as much as you appear to.

Not really. Race might have been a factor in the North Korea talks ending early but that doesn’t mean all the threads about it automatically belong here. If you’d been asking the question or had any kind of solid reason for believing there was a racial factor it wouldn’t be an issue. My issue with with the apparent assumption that it was and should be the primary focus of the incident.

    Nope.

Both leaders are humans who derived from, Caucas Mtn, as we can tell by their pastyWHITE skin and their hair texture.

This is on the front of ESPN.com, right now, if you can go there to verify it:
