"President Donald Trump has made grievance a primary feature of his life and presidency, from the thousands of lawsuits he has filed to, most recently, his repeated claims of national election fraud. I am a violence researcher and study the role of grievances and retaliation in violent crime. Recently, I’ve been researching the way grievances affect the brain, and it turns out that your brain on grievance looks a lot like your brain on drugs. In fact, brain imaging studies show that harboring a grievance (a perceived wrong or injustice, real or imagined) activates the same neural reward circuitry as narcotics. Although these are new findings and the research in this area is not yet settled, what this suggests is that similar to the way people become addicted to drugs or gambling, people may also become addicted to seeking retribution against their enemies—revenge addiction. What can be done? When a friend or family member has an addiction, the first priority is to take care of yourself, and the next step is to encourage the addict to seek help." https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2020/12/12/trump-grievance-addiction-444570 Clearly, we need more shrinks. Somewhat perversely, this doesn't apply to most politicians, they have different problems.
The core issue is Trumps rampant and blatant narcissism and that would never let him acknowledge He even has a problem
The last I heard was that his stupidity has brought him in over $4M in contribution from his 'idiot pool' and that's after the election was over. Stupid like a fox!! He'll continue to contest the election till the contributions stop coming in.
Hmm, I can't say I hold any grievance with anyone as far back as I can recall.. I suppose it has, and has had much to do with the way I was brought up in the teaching of Christ, forgiveness and acceptance of other and my own shortcomings ¯\_(º¸º)_/¯ God bless all, and the gift of a clear and healthy mind..
We should be honest and look at ourselves and current studies too 6 Studies That Link Narcissism With Heavy Social Media Use
