I can’t understand either group so I’m just assuming they are equally degenerate.

I knew people like you would respond just like you have. With your heart. Nothing wrong with that. But use your head and blame the ones responsible if this is a true story. Applying band aids while advocating for the underlying cause of massive hemorrhage isn’t really caring is it.

I care. I care enough to stop this nonsense that is hurting a lot of people you won’t even talk about. And don’t even think about trying the xenophobia crap with me. I work and do business with and socialize with immigrants regularly. While working we drink out of the same **mn jug of water. Talk your nonsense to someone else.

Traditionally these water caches have been used by drug runners. If some humanitarian group is now doing it they create a problem for border guards that have always destroyed these caches. They can't tell if water is left for smugglers or illegal immigrants nor should they try. They can't now suddenly leave all water caches alone assuming they are for illegals and not for drug smugglers.
I can tell you this from experience though. When camping in the border area you are advised by border patrol to leave water outside your RV if you leave it unattended so illegalls don't break into your vehicle in search of water.
They also ask you not to give illegalls water if they ask or leave water for them after you vacate your camp because it just encourages them so yeah they probably are against these humanitarian caches too.

Yes. Your comment is definitely repulsive. As are all comments that blame the victim. Not only repulsive. You not knowing why these parents put their family and their own life in peril is repulsive ignorance.

So you're saying that you knew in advance that your comment was sick, and that you knew that people like me, who have a sense of morals would find it repulsive? And yet you still made it?

What in the world do you think the cause is????

I doubt soooo very much that you will know the correct answer to that question!

    Surprise me!

Of course you do. We all work with immigrants every day! Because we are all immigrants.

Don't be ridiculous. Drug dealers don't walk the desert. Why would they do that? Drug trafficking is a profitable business. They can afford to use more sophisticated methods than that. This is how drugs are transported across the boarder.

    https://www.insightcrime.org/news/analysis/5-clever-ways-mexico-cartels-move-drugs-over-us-border/

Yeah. People who insise on saving the life of 7 year-olds are such a huge inconvenience for boarder agents, aren't they?

No. My comment was not sick. I knew in advance people like you that pick and choose morals that suit their own ends would react like you have.

The causes are legion. Creation of a lazy welfare class of U S citizens is one of the biggest. We’ve got people too lazy and too “sophisticated” to do manual labor. But the work has to be done.

If that isn’t bad enough we allow those who come to fill those jobs the same option of becoming permanent welfare cases as well. So more come.

Add a basically nonexistent border, unrestricted outflow of dollars earned here to Mexico and South America, the lucrative drug trade, birthright citizenship, chain migration, outdated/stupid asylum laws, no e-verify, and sanctuary cities and you get what we have.

Oh, and our refusal to either straighten out the crap hole countries they come from or leave them alone. There’s much more but that’s a start.

    And why wouldn’t I know?

Don’t be silly. Nobody falls for that garbage argument anymore. You know exactactly what I mean but I’ll clarify for everyone else. This thread is discussing illegal immigrants who choose to violate our law and cross our sovereign border instead of applying at a port of entry. My ancestors were legal immigrants. I was born here to US citizen parents. Odds are you were too. Correct me if not I have no way to know. If you want to be taken seriously quit using nonsensical arguments.

The immigrants I’m referring to are Mexican and Centtral/South Americans. Mostly legal as far as can be determined but many illegal as well.

    First off:

"Yet another problem here is the phenomena where drug cartels agree to help a migrant cross the border, but only if the migrant smuggles a backpack full of drugs with him or her. In this scenario, individuals who want to cross have the help and support of different drug cartels ( insert water caches here) which control certain territories near the border,"
    https://southerncaliforniaaddictioncenter.com/will-border-wall-prevent-drug-trafficking-mexico/

As for humanitarians leaving water what's next? Feeding stations? Official camps with medical aid? Transportation? Leaving supplies to help a criminal commit a crime is a crime in and of itself.

By the time septic sock can kill you it has been in your system for more than 24 hours. How do you propose we treat people who are asymptomatic for more than 8 hours?

    Depends on the sepsis

Meningococcaemia can take you down and out in hours

But that is not a reason not to get the child to a health care facility as soon as possible

If you don't know there is anything wrong you have no reason to take her to a health care facility. And she didn't exhibit symptoms until 6.25 am

I say that because for morality to be morality it must be blind. Like our justice system is supposed to be. If it’s wrong for one person it’s wrong for another. Blaming border patrol and me for something I and agents had nothing to do with while giving the parents and the home countries a pass is not morality. It’s self serving nonsense.

This selective morality fools some people. Pretending to “care” is great marketing. But people who use logic and critical thinking see right through it. And call it out. That’s what makes me say these things.

These threads are nothing more than hate a lies spread by ignorant people with a single goal. Orange man bad. Grow up, get an education, and stop the BS.

My guys work these borders and those water jugs are left for drug running mules. Human traffickers who bring illegals across the boarders pack them in trucks and could care less about their safety or well being. All they care about is payment. Making the journey alive or dead isn't their concern.

This 7 year old (Less we forget) was in the custody of her father and died because of his lack of attention. You don't blame responders when you give them your lifeless child and they can't overcome the damage done. How come we don't hear about the fact that this child was taken on a 1000 miles journey by her idiot father and died at the hands of the same idiot that didn't feed her or give her water.

Its OPs like this that will use the death of a 7 year old to make a Trump gotcha post. When you stand on the graves of children and knowingly do it out of context to make a political point. you are a sick SOB.

I understand and somewhat agree with what you say. In reality, "morality" is rather a subjective notion. For example, for the torturer, he sees making others uncomfortable to be OK. He sees it as necessary for the greater good, or perhaps because he gets paid to do so. Stanley Milgram dealt with these issues in his experiments, and I think the title of his book was "Obedience to Authority".

As you and I would have it, morality and conscience is simply the ability to know right from wrong. Are we able to agree on things that are right or wrong?

    It's a long story.

Yeah. I "pick and choose" a 7 year old dying of thirst while in the custody of authorities to be wrong. You "pick and choose' that it isn't. The lesson you should learn from this is that you should never "pick and choose" morals without the supervision of an adult.

Welfare? The reason a 7 year old died of thirst while under the custody of authorities is ... welfare???

    Sick!

What are you talking about? How could a 7 year old break the law?

I have already proven to you that the water caches are not placed for drug dealers. The "help" means things like that they are taken to the boarder in an air-conditioned limo and, if they manage to cross the boarder, they are picked up in an air conditioned limo. Probably not that, but along the line. Drug lords want their product protected.

Think! Why would drug cartels put expensive drug in jeopardy to have the carrier walk the dessert just leaving some bottle of water... "just in case" they happen by that place?

    Ridiculous!

Whatever saves lives! I know the concept that human life is valuable might be a complete shock to you, but there are people, be it because of their religion, or because of basic human moral, who actually still believe that.

By not calling a doctor, or any sort of professional when she starts vomiting, and keeping them in custody for 8 hours processing her immigration papers, of course.

That's the best cure for dehydration science has come up with....

The girl would have not died if her parents did not try to drag her over to the states illegally. If anyone's responsible for her death, it's her parents.

Americans did not make them do anything.

If you are right that being able to seek asylum is a human right, then the implication of this is that a lot of people from the rest of the world would be able to get in, or at least get a chance to do so. And I really don't think this would be good for the Americans.

Why do you think the US has the moral duty to help the rest of the world anyway? Shouldn't her priority be to take care of her own citizens?

Sorry. I'm done explaining to the uninformed Hannity loyalists that seeking asylum is not illegal, but a right.
