It's tough being a Conservative these days. After 4 years with a vicious, lying, cheating-assed charlatan as the leader of the GOP, I am suspecting that real Conservatives feel alot like the best horse left in the barn with nowhere to go. All that pent-up Conservative energy!!! So, this week and this week only, I am going to be exceptionally kind to Conservatives, especially on this thread. I am going to tell Conservatives that they are wonderful people that their deeds are truly awesome, that yes, they really can leap tall buildings in a single bow. I am going to stroke their egos. I am going to give them mental massages (and keep hand sanitizer in my back pocket!). After the Stat-Treatment, Conservatives are going to feel like new, ready to go get the world, loaded for bear an such. So, Conservatives, this week is YOUR week. This week, I LOOOOOOVE you. Why is it hard being a conservative? I’m happy as can be. My 401k doubled and had 21% wage increases because of Trump. I just hope Biden doesn’t screw it all up.
Would you mind helping me understand why one person posting a thread about being nice to conservatives means that everyone on the left thinks that way, BUT, a few thousand Trump supporters storming the Capitol is not representative of all Trump supporters? By the way, I don't believe either correlation to be true.
If we could get liberals to be kind to conservatives, we could massively slash the support for Trump and the like. The same goes in the other direction. Kindness from conservatives would help defuse the toxic left.

Good point...especially seeing how nice people on the Right are to those they disagree with on the Left. Sarcasm off. BOTH sides has its fair share of people who treat those they disagree with poorly. Anyone who says otherwise is being dishonest.
If you aren't shocked and appalled by the trump and his endless assaults on the foundations of democracy, if you haven't written off the GOP as a loony bin of fanatics by now, then you aren't a conservative.
